"rating of 3,5 stars for the hotel We stayed here for 2 nights. The room itself is spacious and was very tidy. Some things to notice: a small showercabin that works with and oldfashioned shower system (to get the shower working, you have to draw the string). Overall the room feels a bit outdated and could use some modern improvements such as a modern bathroom, leveling the floor and checking in on moisture levels. Breakfast is A grade with very good coffee. Also the food in the restaurant is delicious! Fresh and local produce on a grill, loved it. Still a had a good stay in Skye, friendly staff and certainly good pricing but we prefer it a bit more modern."

Fantastic food and ambiance! There are plenty of vegetarian choices, all of which looked incredible. I tried the aubergine dish, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the rump steak and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you're visiting Skye, I would definitely recommend this place. I had a delightful stay at the Dunvegan. It's a warm and inviting hotel with fantastic food—especially the amazing steak and a breakfast that deserves five stars. Blair, the owner, even emailed me afterward to let me know I had left a jacket behind, which she kindly mailed back to me. We look forward to staying there again. We dined here on the first night of our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience. The cozy, visually appealing ambiance complemented the AMAZING food perfectly! The menu featured Argentine-inspired smoky flavors combined with traditional seasonal cuisine from Skye. The dishes were beautifully presented and expertly crafted—each one was innovative yet comforting, offering a fine dining experience without any stuffiness or pretentiousness. They also had excellent local ales and soft drink options! The service was impeccable: 5 stars! View menu

We had the almond cream beans and the beetroot and goat cheese salad as a starter and the turbot as a main course, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned, a very nice experience in a really warm and refined setting with perfect service. Slight disappointment with the accompaniment of the fish which was not sought after, no sauce, no vegetables or other accompaniment other than simple French fries, given the slightly high price of the menu it disappointed us slightly but the overall experience was very owl. Bravo for this place and this cuisine.

Food drinks: The service staff were great, very courteous, helpful and professional. I had the Seafood, and was more than impressed, as it was delicious. All local seafood. The amazing scallops, I learned were twice diced, which means they were collected from where they originally grew, brought to a different location where they matured, then harvested by divers again. The special cooking technique by the chef brought out the flavors so perfectly, that I wish I could go back tomorrow. My wife had a beautifully prepared and tasty vegetarian meal, but she will speak for herself, as usual.

"We 've finally done it, after too long we got to experience the magnificent Three Chimneys. From entering to leaving the whole experience was magical. We were met and greeted by the wonderful front of house staff and really made to feel welcome. Throughout the course of the meal we got to chat to nearly all members of the team, such a great contrast of characters and personalities, yet all boasted the same high level of attentiveness, and professionalism you 'd come to expect from such an establishment. The vibe is really interesting, you may walk in in your finest suit, and you will be treated to a high class fine dining experience. On the other hand, you may pop in in your walking boots, just off the hills and be treated to a lovely relaxing country pub-vibe lunch. How this is achieved is beyond me, but everyone seems to be given the experience they are looking for. The menu, is by far one of the most interesting I have come across yet. First off, it 's the same menu for lunch as it is dinner, so you can have the same marvellous experience regardless of your time preference. Second, it 's not your normal, run of the mill a la carte format. The menu progresses in courses, with suggested dishes for each, entrées, course 1, 2 and 3, and finally desert. The menu is designed in such a way that as you move forward throughout each course, the dishes will get more rich, however you aren 't restricted to any give dish in any given order. you can start with something from course 2, jump back to some fish off of 1, enjoy some entrées, then finish with something off of course 3. Your partner can do something quite different. What an excellent way to dine if you so wish. Finally, the food and wine. Of course it was exquisite. The locally sourced fish and meat was at it 's finest. Master crafted dishes, brought to life by Scott Davies. Each dish was very different, yet the whole experience tied together perfectly. We really did mix-it-up , and yet the contrast between each course was perfect, at no point did anything feel jarring or odd. As you 'd expect, the quality was superb. We had several red wines and several white wines throughout the meal, each was perfectly selected for us based on our attempt to describe what we liked and the dishes we had ordered. We ended our meal with some superb port, sherry and a couple of cheeky cocktails. You really can have as much or as little as you like, without pressure and time constraints. We 'd just like to say a huge thank you to both front of house staff and the kitchen for making our experience everything we had hoped for and so much more. You really made us feel like friends. All in all, an amazing experience."
