"Fantastic pub, has a really nice atmosphere and the food is top quality. Amongst our group people chose the Sunday roast, the George burger and a few side dishes and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff here are brilliant, always happy to help with a constant smile on their faces. The photo attached is just one of the Sunday roasts delivered to our table. The pub has good parking behind it, next to a huge outdoor green space with tables so it's a perfect summertime pub. Will definitely be making more visits."

For a while the George lost its way. Now it is back with a very friendly and laid back sports bar vibe which we as a a family love!

As we were in lock down I ordered a delivery of fish and chips. Wow! fresh cod,lovely chips,mushy peas and tartar sauce. The free delivery was on time and the food was delicious. Huge portions and a fair price.

What a great place, picked at random for lunch with friends and not disappointed by our choice. Friendly and welcoming, with staff who could not do enough for you. Even the chef, who had great sense of humour, put in an appearance to check on customer satisfaction. Great choice of menu, very reasonably priced with premium quality food which could not be faulted. Would definitely visit again and happy to recommend to anyone.
