during a walk at this pub pampered. managed to get a picnic table and fast service, although it is a sunny bank holiday. the food came out in less than 10 minutes and was delicious. View menu

We really like this place. Beautiful gardens, excellent seating outside and particularly roomy inside. Very well decorated for the Jubilee . Good food although I'm not over impressed with the menu, but that's just me. Overall probably the best pub for miles around for couples, groups or families. .

Our Sunday roast was delicious!! One of the best roasts we have had, plus the desserts were great too! Ordered the sticky toffee pudding and it was amazing, I could have eaten two! I have had lunch here a few times on the terrace which have also been great, and was lovely to have lunch inside today. Will be back again!

Great experience,as so often with Brunning and Price pubs,the staff and food are excellent. I had prawn and pumpkin Laksa which was sensational.My partner had Vegan burger, very good.. Best sticky toffee pudding—always delicious and even gluten-free! I'm a very happy customer! The staff is great, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly. We've been here about four times, and my partner orders the fish and chips every time because he says it’s the best he’s ever had. I tried the gluten-free fish fingers, and they were also delicious!

We made an impromptu visit on Mother's Day and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Parking was a breeze. We only tried the desserts, but they were delightful. Since we were dining outdoors, the heated blankets were a great addition, especially as the weather turned cool after two weeks of early summer sunshine. I would definitely recommend a visit!

This is a spacious pub that offers a nice spot for a drink as well as plenty of tables for dining. Upon arrival, the staff was wearing masks and promptly escorted us to our table. They presented us with a drink menu while we looked over the food options, and the service was timely. The lunch menu is extensive, with choices for both light bites and full meals. The fish and chips were fantastic! They also have a lovely selection of desserts for those with a sweet tooth. Our waitress was very polite and efficient; while we certainly took our time to settle in, we never felt rushed to leave. There's also ample parking available. I would highly recommend this place!
