Fantastic old school traditional flavour fish and chip shop. Staff are extremely well organised and polite.

Have been eating from the Haynes for 69 years never a reason to complain the food and value are A1 and the staff very helpful and friendly, Highly recommended.

The best fish and chips in Somerset can be found at this restaurant. You can choose to dine in or take the food away. It's typically busy, so I recommend ordering ahead of time to avoid waiting.

On holiday in the area and glad we stopped here the food was brilliant (eldest son said its the best fish and chips he's ever had) the staff are really friendly and helpful, restaurant has a great atmosphere View menu

New to the area and ordered Haddock'n'chips. Fish is cooked skin on, so one side of batter and skin just fell away, leaving the rest to break up into small bits. Chips a bit overcooked too, so unfortunately won't be returning am afraid :

Highly recommended particularly if you are gluten free like myself. Nothing was too much trouble, very friendly service and very reasonably priced. My food was cooked separately for me to avoid contamination wherever possible. Will definitely visit again

Just passing going home from Bath and thought we would stop and get some lunch, the service was excellent and very friendly staff. The chips were amazing, just how I remembered how chips tasted when I was a child, the only downside there was not enough. The portions were very small and I was very dissappointed with that, as I was still hungry. We would definitely buy again next time we are heading that way, but would make sure I got a larger portion of chips. View menu
