The Jetty Salcombe - Menu

Good view, reasonable food but now very expensive. Steaks especially! For a table of 4 we had x3 starters to share, a main each, x2 sides, x2 deserts and drinks (water, fruit juice and glasses of wine not a bottle) and the bill was £250.

We had a lovely family Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The views were fantastic, the food was excellent, and it was definitely value for money. I would recommend it to everyone to give it a try. The staff were all friendly, except for the young lady who showed us to our table.

Delicious freshly prepared food, chunky scallops, awesome tiger prawns in batter, soufflé dripping in cheese sauce for starters. We loved the belly pork, lamb and chicken dishes. The dauphinois potatoes were too good to share. Steak comes with salad and fries. Book a table by the window

Beautiful hotel and restaurant, but service was extremely slow, had to ask several times to be served. Felt they are more attentive to their hotel guests than restaurant bookings. It was my father's birthday though and felt ignored most of the evening. Food OK but nothing amazing either.

Unfortunately we stayed at a different hotel this time, but were happy to return here several times for dinner. Thankfully, everything was as good as ever! I had the best fresh fish I’ve ever eaten, and the service was exceptional. This restaurant is a must try if you are in the area. Can’t wait to return!

During our holiday in Salcombe, we dined at this restaurant for dinner and were so impressed that we made a reservation for the following evening. The menu is diverse and intriguing, the food is exquisite, and the wine selection is fantastic. The standout feature, however, is the exceptional service. Paul waited on us both nights and remembered our preferred table and wine choice. This restaurant is without a doubt the best in Salcombe - a true gem.

So nice t be looked after by an attentive, happy server. Ciara made the evening meal such a pleasure. The food was good and the Prosecco excellent. It is our 1st evening and we will sample more of the wine list over the next few days. The service was good although, on observation, the restaurant was very busy and I don’t know how the staff managed to maintain such a high standard as they were clearly understaffed and very overstretched. They did an excellent job.

We were very disappointed with our Wedding Anniversary dinner. The starters and desserts were okay, but the main courses were very poor. My wife's hake was dry and my surf and turf dish was a joke for £55. The one small and tasteless scallop and prawn on top of a tough sirloin steak was not enjoyable. The fries seemed like they came from McDonald's, but even those would have been better. Despite a small reduction in the bill after I complained, the total still came to nearly £200. We will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant to others.

we came to dinner, expected a great meal and service, but remained disappointed. there was a big party in the restaurant that was very loud and sweared and obnox was what did not help our experience of the jetty. we sat at the restaurant manager, but waited for minutes to recognise us all the employees. Finally our beverage order was taken, but although we could see the drinks on the bar, they did not arrive for more minutes. when the drinks arrived, we ordered cheese and garnel cocktails. the prawn cocktails were tasteless, they had benefited from some paprika, but the cheese soufflé was delicious. the seafood curry was not especially spicy and was watery, but the steaks and the scholle wer...
