"I regularly walk 2 miles to the Huntsman instead of going to 2 nearer pubs. I often find myself just popping out for a couple then find myself having tea because that looks nice what their eating over there. Food for me is a minefield as I 'm dairy and gluten free but they always manage to sort me out with something delicious. The selection of drinks is fantastic and reasonably priced. Friendly locals makes it an entertaining evening."

Stayed in a local holiday home , 6 couples for our Xmas do . Had a lovely walk , lovely fire , friendly pub . Returned for Sunday lunch , the sticky toffee pudding was amazing loved our lunch , Thanks big Pete n little Pete . We will be back

We stayed with a group of friends around a 15 minute walk away from The Huntsman and what a great find it was. The selection of drinks on offer and the friendliness of Peter Pete made our weekend and to top it off we had a quality Sunday lunch served with all the trimmings . Well done
