Spotted The Oak Room on arrival in Lynton and thought we would go for lunch after walking around . We were not disappointed! Warm friendly greeting offered inside or outside on terrace with dog. Delightful terrace in sun and flowers. Great carafe of rose and tapas dishes to die for served by knowledgeable staff. A lunch to remember cannot recommend highly enough! View menu

I had an excellent experience at The Oak Room. Over the past ten days, this was the best meal I’ve had. Absolutely stunning! The selection was fantastic, the service was exceptional, and the wine choices were impressive—all at great prices. The menu was simple yet comprehensive, covering all the essentials. It was the perfect meal to conclude our journey. Thank you for accommodating us on such short notice!

When you enjoy tapas as much as I do, I just had to stop and eat even though I wasn’t that hungry… patatas bravas aoli, tomato salad, lemon and garlic prawns and a chorizo later followed by a large glass of Rioja…. Okay okay I stayed a lot longer than expected, a warm brownie with cream and a cafe con Leche to finish, just Perfect. We visited this restaurant for dinner based on my brother's recommendation and were thoroughly impressed. It is a fantastic spot for a meal, featuring friendly staff and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The selection of tapas was excellent, with plenty of choices available. The quality of the food was outstanding, and it was served at a good pace, ensuring we always had plenty on the table. The desserts were also delightful, and I would even say they were better than the main courses—but everything was really excellent. Given this experience, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit.
