"After we have experienced the light amusing steam train ride, 5 of us (vegans bar one spaish disappointed) were unnoticed hungry, so used happy **** to preempten to eat something, much to our pleasure we found this place and was greeted at the door by the friendly waiter who had a crisp feeling of humor, but we had to wait 10 about half of the menu can be made vegan, and that is not exaggerated. it is a large menu. there is an all-day breakfast, jackenkartoffeln, suppen, burger and more. here is the killer detail, there were only two ladies and they sent us 5 pieces of breakfast in sufficient time, all of them were deliberately prepared to ensure that nothing vegan had touched something that had been used to prepare meat, legendary. they also host dogs as well as people who are a huge bonus."

Superb cafe, lovely roast coffee, we had the home made soup, jacket potato and small fish and chips and all expertly made and tasty. Nice view overlooking part of the town.

Passed through Abis cafe on a motorbike trip from Cheddar to Lands End. A very welcome pit stop. Prices are good for the portion size, and the cafe has a homey relaxed feel. The toilet has a lot of spiders though!

A lovely cafe, very welcoming a great menu with lots of choices. We had an early lunch of bacon sandwiches, chips to share coffee, but best of all a gluten free choice on everything so tasty. Hoping to go back there soon.

Lovely little cafe which is very accommodating with children and dogs. Lovely ploughman's and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend if you're in the area. Be patient with service, everywhere is so busy right now and it's great to see after recent times! View menu

Went here for takeaway on a Bank Holiday Monday. Just off the beaten track we were served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff. (We were thankful for this having given up waiting at another (possibly more popular cafe in town. Food was freshly prepared and did the job.

Fantastic cafe with a welcoming atmosphere for both kids and dogs. They provide treats for the little ones and furry friends, which kept them entertained while we placed our order. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. We definitely plan on returning the next time we're in the area!

A very quirky cafe precipitously situated in Lynton, which obviously has a lot of love and care invested in it. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. The ambience is very pleasant indeed. I had a vegetable curry, which was tasty and sufficiently portioned. This place also has one of the most unusual entrances to a toilet that I’ve ever seen! View menu

My experience at the Old Coach House in Lynton was unexpected but delightful. The owner welcomed us in on a Saturday afternoon just before closing time. We enjoyed a freshly cooked meal of bubble and squeak, bean stew, and lemonades while chatting with the proprietor. We were tempted by the offer of vegan fruit cake but were too full to indulge.

About half of the menu can be made vegan, and that's no exaggeration - the menu is extensive. They offer all-day breakfast, jacket potatoes, soups, burgers, and more. The real standout detail is that with only two staff members, they managed to serve us five vegan breakfasts in a timely manner. They were very mindful of cross-contamination and ensured that nothing vegan came into contact with anything that had been used to prepare meat. They also welcome dogs as warmly as they welcome humans, which is a big plus.
