The Oak Room - Menu

Plenty of choice of tapas and each one delicious. Good bread and olives to munch on while waiting. Closed for the next two months sadly but we will be back in the Spring.

The food here is fantastic we could have ordered the entire menu! Every dish was excellent. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!

Really amazing food, the patatas bravas were just the right amount of flavouring and generous portions. Our server was very friendly and we were allowed to bring our dog as it was lunch time! Many thanks.

We very much enjoyed all of the tapas we were served. The meatballs and calamari were particularly good. 6 dishes was more than ample between 2. The wine was also very good as was the service, a lovely chap from Buenos Aries who looked after us very well indeed.

We were visiting Lynton at the weekend and booked a meal for the Saturday night. The tapas was amazing and plentiful having booked three dishes each for the four of us. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. Will definitely return next time we’re in Lynton. View menu

A lovely tapas restaurant, with excellent food, great wine and friendly staff. Visited here a couple of years ago while on holiday and decided to make a return visit. It was very busy on a Saturday so book ahead if you can. We walked all the way up from Lynmouth and back so felt we deserved our meal.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with a new spring menu that I highly recommend trying. In particular, the tuna in pastry dish is a must-try. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent service. The wine selection is top-notch, and I suggest trying the Rose wine from Rioja.

The food selection is extremely limited, so if you have children, it's not worth going. We spent a lot of money and left feeling hungry. I'm sure tapas in London is cheaper than 8 pounds for such small dishes. If you're just looking to have a drink and an olive, then it's fine, but for a family meal, it's hard to find something that everyone will enjoy. Tapas is supposed to be Spanish street food, not priced like a fancy London restaurant. We won't be returning. View menu
