"simply fantastic! hidden over this jewel by complete accident. I received a warm welcome when I went from a wet and windy afternoon to the door. A fine selection of well kept real ales are supplemented by large dips prepared in an open kitchen. I had the finest piece of fish for my lunch I can ever remember eating. the fish was preceded by a warm artichoke salad that was delicious. is that a good thing? I hear they ask. No, I've eaten two classes in lunch at £10."

Had our Christmas works party here and they catered for over 50 of us and it was brilliant! Thank you so much to the team they were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would 100% recommend this lovely bar restaurant for all your party needs

fantastic! the brat we have was fabulous! and the biggest Yorkshire pudding I saw. pudding was great. we had sticky fabric pudding. the food was produced locally and we were told where it can be. the atmosphere was beautiful and the beer was great. worth a visit.
