"Looked at a few cafés for lunch in Lynmouth and Lynton, all seem to be extremely overpriced for what they were offering! We stumbled across the Pie shack , Don’t be put off by it’s size. A really small place at the top of the central thoroughfare in Lyton, what a find, and such a lovely lady that runs it, we had FRESH, oven cooked NOT microwaved Lamb Pastie with salad and coleslaw a vegetarian beetroot, chickpea and cheese pie again with a lovely salad, both were absolutely delicious and whilst we waited on the bench outside for the food to heat 10mins or so , free coffee was available. Well done I really couldn’t recommend you highly enough "

We both had the American style, with beef, cheese, pickles and burger sauce. The best sandwich I have ever tasted. Absolutely delicious.

Definitely not for those on a diet, two pies provided a welcome centrepiece to Sunday lunch! Both the meat and vegetarian pies were delicious with an abundance of filling and good pastry.

Absolutely gorgeous pies. I had the chicken with tarragon , husband had the steak. Both pies were packed full of succulent tasty high quality meat. The pastry was delicious. I cant imagine a better pie. Thank you

We stumbled across the Pie Shack just looking for a lunchtime sandwich and wow the best tuna and salad sandwich I've had in years. And we took home a chicken pie for later which turned out to be absolutely delicious. It's small but perfect!

Over the last few months we have enjoyed a tasty range of pies and sausage rolls from The Pie Shack. We highly recommend the food and Katherine's service. Just the place to pick up a tasty pie to eat at home or in the sun in Lynton and Lynmouth. Vegetarian options too.

I have been enjoying pies for well over 60 years and I know my pies. Catherines handmade pies are an absolute perfection of traditional high-quality, and the Steak and Ale pies are some of the best I have ever tasted. Superb large melt in the mouth steak with a thick rich gravy, all encased in a slightly crisp but yielding pastry, simply stunning!!

If you love pastry, pasties and all things yummy you have to visit the Pie Shack! We tucked into sausage rolls, scotch eggs, a cheese and onion pasty and a vegetable and brie pie. The quality of the pastry was exceptional; packed full of flavour and fresh, seasonal produce. Thank you Katherine for a real treat and honestly, the best sausage roll I'ver ever eaten in my life!!
