"This is hands down the best pub I’ve ever been to. The meal was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the chicken and leek cake paired with thrice-cooked chips and vegetables. The cake was so light that it just melted in my mouth. My cousins opted for the sea bass, and they both praised it for being crispy and flavorful, served with two beautiful fillets. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The pub is under new management, and the menu has been greatly improved, thanks to an exceptional chef. The manager was incredibly charming, making the whole experience even better. And to top it all off, the beautiful landscape surrounding the pub is an added bonus."

Delicious food and great value. Every meal was fantastic—there wasn't a single bad one. The staff is also excellent!

Pricing is reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20 per person. I rated the food a solid 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Creamed Garlic Mushrooms and the Homemade Soup!

friendly staff served drinks, as we sat at the fire. the cheap location and good parking made this an ideal place for a business meeting. it was served eating that looked very good. I've already eaten here and that was fantastic. general atmosphere was modern, welcoming and not too intrusiw.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot with friendly staff and generous portions at reasonable prices. Price per person: £10-£20. Food rating: 4/5. Service rating: 5/5. Atmosphere rating: 5/5. Recommended dishes include the Sunday Roast and Sunday Carvery. There is ample parking available, and it’s all free!

Had the carvery which was lovely although I didn't get offered a choice of meats and the turkey was a no show but I suppose its the most popular. Wide choice of veg, mash was good but the roasts were cold and hard however best Yorkshire puds we've tried at a carvery. Staff were friendly and with a option of 3, 2 or1 courses and a more extensive menu makes it great value for money.

Omg! It's the best carvery in town! The meat is so juicy! We came a bit late so we thought the meat might be dry but no! It was so moist (not sure about the turkey as I only had beef and gammon). The gammon is so tasty but not salty at all. And the roast veg and gravy oh its just perfect. Oh to add on they have the most friendly staff. You'll definitely going to enjoy to eat here!

The restaurant offers a great variety of beers and local ales, with an impressive selection of around 40 different gins. The pool table is decent, and the bar snacks are satisfying. The food options are quite good, and the service is friendly. The layout of the space is very functional, and the food buffets are well-suited for gatherings. We have hosted several parties here, and the staff has always been accommodating.

Food was good, not brilliant. Appreciate that there was a choice of smaller or larger portion. Service was patchy, room was cold. Was told, when I booked I could have a quiet table, but on arrival said the room was in use for a shower, presume baby shower! All in all quite ahoidneal. Preferred the afternoon tea i had last week, it was excellent I would return for another afternoon tea. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Parking space: Plenty of parking
