Just had Sunday lunch. Great service. Excellent quality food and I like the fact you can order off main menu aswell as Sunday lunch menu . Good value for money

I had drinks with a friend at The Rifleman at Christmas and we had a fantastic time. We had plenty of drinks and nibbles and the atmosphere was great. The staff are really friendly and I can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely return!

i always highly recommended the riflemann as its my local I took my work friends we had the Christmas fayre I cannot express how amazing this meal was from start to finish staff are always amazing and happy to help we all had a great time 10/10 to the riflemann

We had a wonderful dining experience with our grandchildren at The Rifleman. Despite being picky eaters, the children enjoyed their meal. We ordered the sirloin steak and steak and ale pie, both of which were delicious. We all indulged in desserts as well. Hats off to the staff at The Rifleman for a job well done.

This pub is fantastic. The food is delicious, especially the cheese pie which is my favorite. However, what sets this place apart is the fantastic staff who run it. They provide excellent service and make everyone feel welcome, whether they are regulars or first-time visitors. They truly care for their local community and have big hearts.

We ordered Sirloin steak with Diane sauce, belly pork, and pizza for the children at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely fantastic! The steak was cooked perfectly and the belly pork was also delicious. We managed to save room for dessert, as there was a wide selection to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back soon.

We had a lovely meal in the bar area. There were four of us and they were very happy to change anything i.e. I did not want peppers and onions on my chilli chicken baguette and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff very attentive. There is a restaurant area and also a little snug area. Great car park and good seating in the afternoon sun. What a great find especially if you are going for a walk around Bathpool.

Great food and service. We booked this venue because it was local and recommended. It didn’t disappoint. They catered for over 30 people in one sitting, and yet the service was great , food was great and the presentation was amazing. I has lasagna and it came out with salad and garlic bread set on the plate like a picture. Other people had fish and chips , yet again the presentation was amazing, looked like whale and chips , home made chips I might add . Steak pie was steak, jacket potato was set on the plate , with cheese ,bacon and chicken,salad mmmm. There was nothing to complain about with any of the 30 meals or great service.

Not visited in a few years but heard the Sunday roasts were worth trying. We booked in the afternoon and although thete was a specials board on offer and the full menu available we decided on sticking to the roast, which very reasonably priced for one two or three courses. With a choice of 3 meats, you can pay extra for a selection. Choose from turkey beef or lamb with roasts yorkshire and gravy. All arrived on a large plate with veg, which was carrots peas and cabbage, cauliflower cheese and bolied potatoes as sides. Absolutely ample potions, its great value for money. We were shown to our table and offered a choice of sitting in the bar or restaurant, both clean and warm the open fires wer...
