The Ruddy Duck - Menu

absolutely amazing place, john our server was excellent, visited the evening and had steaks 4 people in our party, all eating was well presented, overall would definitely recommend this place and will soon visit again.

eating here has really improved lately. the steak is excellent (and when I rarely ask, it actually comes to rare), and the new loaded pommes are really good. the personal is friendly and attentive, and a bonus is the wide range of gins!

I sat down with a friend and tried the buffalo cauliflower tacos, which were delicious! There were plenty of other options on the menu, including pizza, burgers, garlic bread, curry, buffalo cauliflower salad, and a variety of vegan desserts. View menu

We frequently come here to the ruddy duck. Today we've come for our regular pizza and drink after work and found the most amazing pool table in wakefield at the moment! It compliments the amazing staff team/management and great atmosphere. Its one of our favourite Marston pubs to visit

We eat at the Ruddy at least once a week. The food is always delicious and great value for money. The place is spacious, clean and inviting and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our server yesterday was a new girl called Niamh. She was very friendly and helpful and I'm sure will be a real asset to the place. Try their mixed grills. Delicious :

the ruddy duck has been reworked with a new menu. although couple prefer the previous menu, it didn't really work for me because I don't always visit the company. I had only a bad experience a few years ago, where a baked kartoffel raw arrived, but the things have improved since then and I have a pleasant experience with consumables and service delivery every time now. I visited yesterday, and it was absolutely fabulous! I will definitely dine there again. The food was great, and I have no complaints about the service. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The prices were reasonable as well. The pub is in a wonderful location by the canal, but it was a bit too chilly to sit outside. The interior is very nice, and I had a lovely dinner.

I have the buffalo flower taco with coriander rice. the taco was really nicely tasted and consistent, we sat outside next to the channel in the sun and it was a really nice evening date. the rice was in order, it was not like coriander crumbled in beautiful it was more of a paste that makes the rice green. the grinding time should come with mais on the cable and shy but I forgot the until now! but about all really nice I would probably just stretch the taco again

The food here is lovely and reasonably priced. I've been twice so far. During my first visit, I would rate the food and customer service a perfect 10 out of 10. However, on my second visit, the food wasn’t quite as good, but it was still decent enough for me to want to return. It was extremely busy that day, which likely contributed to the experience. One staff member was a bit unwelcoming and even shook her head at another colleague, which made us feel uneasy. On the bright side, the younger waitress was very friendly and incredibly helpful.
