Food is above average and their Sunday lunch is excellent and one of the best that I have tried anywhere in the area. Very good atmosphere together with attentive staff.

best Sunday roast I've ever eaten, my partner had the lobster and swallowed it. the personal was beautiful, the whole place was lovely, I would recommend it. absolutely yes!

What a great atmosphere this pub has, seems very popular with the locals. We very happy with the food and beer. Had a Sunday mixed roast which was perfect, crispy and tasty and topped with a large Yorkshire pudding. Definitely going to go back again

So friendly generous portions, lovely atmosphere. A really great pub plenty of outdoor space as well good amount of parking it really has it all and very reasonably priced. Make this a stop on any day out or just come for the food and atmosphere and you won't be left disappointed.

Very nice pub, we ate Scallops and chorizo as starter and the fish pie as main. We waited a bit, the pub was crowded on Saturday at lunch. The scallops were really good, the fish pie was good but nothing exceptional, I suggest to add more veggies in the plate maybe. Good choice of dessert but we didn’t order them. View menu

We discovered this restaurant while visiting Cobham from our nearby hotel. We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday dinner and returned for another meal the following day. The food was excellent, with generous portions, and everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place, and the staff were very friendly as well.

This was our first time at the restaurant, and we loved it! We were able to enjoy drinks at the bar before lunch, which was excellent. The staff was very attentive, making the experience even better. Our lunch portions were generous, with a fantastic selection of vegetables. The cheese plate was also a great choice, featuring a nice variety of cheeses. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again!

I was recommended The Running Mare by a coworker, so I decided to check it out. I went for Sunday dinner with three friends. From the moment we walked into the bar, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu had a great selection, and when our food arrived, the plates were full and brimming with options. The dinner was fantastic and well worth the price. I'd like to extend my gratitude to all the staff, from the front of the house to the kitchen, for making our visit so enjoyable.
