"We rang on the Sunday and got a table for 6 that evening. The pub is a small intimate building with lots of character. The meals were all of excellent hone cooked values and my roast beef dinner was great value at £10. All our plates were empty which is always a good sign. The puddings were the star of the show the pina Colada cheesecake and the sticky toffee pudding were fantastic. Highly recommended!"

Called in to meet friends, decided to have a meal, the restaurant was fully booked, but we were served a beautiful roast beef downstairs as soon as they could. Great pub to have in an amazing village. Staff and owners Charlotte and Jane are always pleasant and accommodating

Excellent meal, the steak pie in particular was exceptional. The fish chips was more like whale and chips. Lovely dessert selection Dining room is small (6 or so tables) in a cute way. It's up narrow stairs so not suitable for wheelchairs, but there are tables downstairs, perhaps they might be able to accommodate if given advance notice. Limited parking, but definitely worth the effort. We will be back
