"I typically do not review one-time events, pop-ups, or launches on my blog. If an event is excellent, it seems excessive to boast about an evening that no one else can experience, and if it is negative, I would rather just move on. It is always appreciated to be invited to such events, but I strive to provide useful recommendations in my reviews. Whether you agree with my opinions or not, I aim to guide you in the right direction - whether that means avoiding a particular establishment or recommending a specific dish."

delicious authentic Indian cuisine, with fine, complex flavors. the phuchka is just calcutta street food, addictive. the venison rogan josht was incredible. each dish was prepared with real care and it shows that is a small jewel of a restaurant.

Nice food from Sarap, the Filipino BBQ pop-up. Every dish we had was a joy! Had the keviche, chicken wing, pig bell (which I loved most), grilled fish and roast chicken. The dessert was amazing to end the average. The waitresses are friendly, helpful, funny and committed. Our meal and experience was really pleasant. I hope they will soon have a permanent restaurant.

“Asmas eating is aromatically spiced that the “hot hot” spicy many British palate have come to believe, is Indian farewell. it is layered and complex and demanding.” asma khan is extremely delightful. warm and Greek. witty and charismatic. their energy is so contagious that they only want to join their poor and do what they do. that made me nervous for the first time when I ate asmas.

Visit a Vegan soup club from EatWith and it was an incredible experience! The place is beautiful, spacious and bright with deep green tiles all around. The staff was friendly, friendly and extremely attentive - the service was brilliant with a great atmosphere. The food was just incredible, Rishi was the star cook that created the 7 Vegan dishes tasting menu and I can't imagine better experience, I loved every single dish! Thank you for this incredible experience!

Regular readers will notice I don't really cover one-off events, popups and launches on this blog. If they're good, it seems a bit much gloating about an evening that nobody else will have the chance to go to, and if they're bad I'd usually rather just forget the whole thing ever happened. It's always nice to be invited to things, of course, but whether or not you agree with the opinions on these pages I hope the least I can be is useful don't go here, go here, have the lamb chops. That kind of thing.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
