"This Five Star Pub shouldn't be the best Kept Secret in Lewisham! This review contains some visits that have been made since 5 July 2019. It was at my first visit with a beautiful friend Rima Bray that the beautiful manager donated what turned out to be the best of the eighty prizes I collected in SE London, an audience fund for The Hill Station Community Café near Kitto Rd, the price was a meal for four, I will never forget your generosity for such an important cause. Although the management did not have the cook and so far both meals, fish and chips last year followed by Sunday Roast Pork on 23. February 2020 were both so delicious that they should be illegal. The Brat just sprinkled my taste buds, the roasted beet root was a master touch and the brattier my whole time fave in 61 years. £14 and good value given the exceptional quality and generous help. There is always an excellent vegan option. This lovely pub appeals to me on so many levels, even with the fab old-fashioned juke box can You really hear you think and talk, this is ideal place to bring your friends for a common meal or drinks and entertainment. Perfect ambience with open fires in winter, and a Fab outdoor garden terrace for summer, paired with beautiful staff, customers and a wide selection of tap beer at very reasonable prices, what could you ask more? There are also three nights of activities, including Monday Pub Quiz and Thursday Open Mic, which is a wonderful evening from the feedback. The most positive is that there is a large display board that shares events in the local community, and the offer of a FREE function room must surely have appeal for clubs and social groups? For the first time you read about this Fab Pub, visit The Telegraph at The Earl of Derby should not remain the best secret in Lewisham!"

The Monday night quiz is always great fun thanks to the hard work of Phil Nice. If you're not a regular you may miss a few of the jokes, but at the end of the day it's only a fu...

A little gem of a pub and much bigger than it looks from the outside. The telegraph was the venue of my niece's 18th birthday party. and the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Good, slightly off the beaten track, New Cross pub. Effectively, two separate bars plus a smallish outside drinking area to the front. Two or three cask ales available. Friendly staff and has the feel of a real local pub.

A crisp real pub with good old-fashioned loneliness. Good selection of beer and a beautiful outdoor terrace for summer. We were there for Thursday night open microphone night. Very well run with many quirky and interesting music also with some top quality. Excellent sound system.

Visited just after a mini beer festival, so great selection of cask beers, including Siren Breakfast Stout. Friendly staff and locals. And I must return to try one of the average Sunday roasts which I 'm told at actually AM-A-ZING (to quote Revel-horwood! . Will return, with others in tow!

Great pub in back streets of nunhead new cross. Recent new owners have done us proud with a new menu. Can be quiet but great for families and can get happily lively with locals and students Recently, much more lively with the owners doing a grand job of daily events, including great open mic acts and charity comedy nights

One of the best pubs to welcome their guests, establish a connection and know the people around you. The owners are amazing people, helpful and friendly The bar staff are fun and try to know you. Every Thursday there are amazing live music, high-quality singer songwriters. There are other fun activities such as comedy etc. Visit this pub and you will come back again and again. ..!!!!!!!!!!!!
