"Rather disappointed with this restaurant. Amazing part of the cathedral building surrounded by incredible architecture clashed with the ambience of the eatery. Someone had decided to aim for a vaguely urban/trendy vibe that simply does not work. Not helped by staff hanging around in “uniforms” that seem inappropriate in a cathedral. Please change the music! This may be a restaurant, but many will use it as a cafe, so a lack of tea served in a pot seems a strange choice. Cannot comment on the food as I only tried an extremely dry scone."

Best baked potato in town. Scouse was delicious. Service excellent. Will be returning when next in Liverpool.

Surprisingly good cafe attached to the cathedral. Really good jacket potato and veggie chilli and fabulous cheesecake and coffee. Good value as well.

A lovely place to sit and have lunch. Staff were great and the food is really good value. Plenty of choices and spotless. Would certainly recommend a visit .

This restaurant is a hidden treasure, situated in the stunning backdrop of Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral. I had a delightful meal of a tuna baked potato and salad. The portions were generous and the prices were fair. View menu

After perusing the holy place it was great to retire here for a time and be reenergized. In an evocative space amongst the columns and arches a tasty menu is offered. Delighted with our refreshments choices, it was lovely relaxing and enjoying the goodies.

Never knew you could get a Sunday roast here at the cathedral until it was recommended to my partner. We came one Sunday September 2022 with my partner and a friend of his from work. We all got a Sunday roast and had desert it was all really nice and tasty maybe slightly on the pricier side but I would recommend and return! Red wine was nice too!

We have visited this restaurant twice recently for hot drinks and cake while touring the cathedral. The atmosphere is lovely, with seating underneath beautiful sandstone arches. Both our Espresso and Latte were high quality, as well as our slices of cake. We also noticed that the Roast Dinners are very reasonably priced, so we plan to come back and try one of those next time. View menu

This restaurant is a great place for a relaxed lunch away from the busy city. We booked a table for four and the service was excellent, as was the food. The scouse was delicious, piping hot, and served generously with a wedge of bread. We all enjoyed it and would definitely come back. As natives of Liverpool, we've never tried scouse outside of our homes, but this restaurant's version was really good. Thumbs up for the great scouse!

I would definitely return just not on a Sunday unless you book. Cathedral was very busy with mass taking place and visitors so took us a while to get a table. Eventually we got one indoors, but to the side of the bistro. Sunday Roast was lovely followed by a cream clotted scone. Plenty of tables outside but too cold this time of year. Staff were very pleasant. Good choice on the menu. Inside the bistro is not very big, a few more tables where we sat would be ideal. Looking forward to next visit
