"We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were all fine and well presented although the evening menu was a bit limited with no specials . We had dinner there for both nights. Breakfast was very good and the price for a cooked breakfast included toast, tea/coffee. Hotel guests get a 20% discount on breakfast prices if they add it to their room. We opted for a sea view room which was on the 3rd floor unfortunately, the windows were not that large. The room was of reasonable size with a nice bathroom. The hotel has a nice veranda at the front with outside tables/chairs looking across the road to the sea and pier. The hotel does suffer some noise from the main road outside. It is not far from the centre of Hastings. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the White Rock Hotel and it was excellent value for what we paid. Certainly, would definitely go back there again on our next visit to Hastings"

The service is very slow and not very friendly. Limited choices and over priced for what you get. Tables were not cleared for long periods of time

Stopped off for a bite to eat and a drink. A fantastic location sitting on the terrace over looking Hastings pier and the sea. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The food and the beer was great.

stayed here before, loved the sea view, loved the bed quilt, food great, when I have to stay in Hastings, this is my go to hotel, even when it's raining, you wake up to a great sea view, watching people jogging or walking dogs, heaven, love this hotel xxxxxxxx

Very clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, great food at the restaurant with outdoor seating with reasonable prices. Only thing to mention is that it’s on a busy road with quite a lot of noise from the road. The floorboards on the first floor need some work squeaky creaky movement kept me awake when people were coming and going up and down the stairs.

Welcoming staff. Nice toilet and good room. The floor creaks and the fire door in the hallway towards the small elevator has to be kept shut as its door slams loudly. Cracks under the door facing the hallway must be covered to reduce noise from the hallway. Nice starting point to experience not only the old town, but also other good neighborhoods in Hastings.

We had a nice Seaview room, the room was fine, but with no air conditioning it was very hot. There was a large walk in ŝhower. The food in the hotel was good and served large portions, because it was so hot we sat outside, although the hotel was on a busy road, the Seaview was great. All the staff were brilliant, they was always happy to help and gave great customer service. We will return.
