"We were shocked when we saw the total bill; the 12% service charge added nearly £60 to our expenses, which felt outrageous. The waiter mentioned this charge only after we began paying, which honestly felt like a major rip-off. If you're considering dining here, be prepared to spend a lot—bring serious cash and a credit card. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on our experience. **Parking:** Very difficult to find. **Service:** Dine-in **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** £60-70 **Food:** 3/5 **Service:** 3/5 **Atmosphere:** 3/5 **Parking Space:** Challenging to find **Parking Options:** Free street parking"

We came here for the Sunday lunch and unfortunately were disappointed. We had a roast lamb and roast beef, both were bland and dry. They were highly expensive given that they didn't come with any trimmings which had to be ordered separately. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Very enjoyable meal with excellent cooking across a wide range of dishes highlights of goat’s curd and honey, potted shrimp, cod brandade, special of skate. Horseradish cream with the flat iron was a little under powered. Great bottle of Vouvray at very reasonable price. Lovely, intelligent service. Would certainly return. We chose Farmyard for our evening meal after we 'eloped ' to Hastings last week. We 'd never been there before on our previous trips to St Leonards and it surpassed all expectations. The service, food and wine were incredible. Exactly what we were looking for. Food and wine of the best quality in a cosy venue. Thank you to Farmyard! We 'll definitely be back. Amazing food and service! This restaurant is a delightful surprise just a short walk from St Leonards Warrior Square station, making it well worth the journey from London. I enjoyed five enormous king prawns, followed by two generous local lamb chops, all served by a knowledgeable waitress. We paired our meal with an affordable Sauvignon Blanc and a unique Austrian red wine. I can't wait to come back in the New Year! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
