"We visit here fairly regularly for dinner and have never had a bad meal. My other half is very fussy and finds fault in everything but have never found fault here! The main menu has a options for everyone (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc) and...staff chef happy to make tweaks to suit (note my fussy other half! Beer is great, spirit wine selection is very varied and there is something for everyone! Landlady and staff provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and take pride in everything they do! Keep up the great work, will be back very soon!!"

Awful. Smelly inside. Inefficient bar staff. Restaurant was empty and we’d heard it was terrible, so no surprise.

we live in the village, but rarely visited the pub, so made a family effort to try it. warm personal and good eating. easy problem with a few meal times, but manager was extremely friendly and gave us a free bottle of wine, a beautiful...Geste

we were through, immersed, not expected to be available and found somewhere really welcoming. our meal times for 3 generations of the same family were all excellent good pub duve! nice friendly staff and excellent service (and a beautiful log burner). we will return when we are in the opposite. we were not here, we came for a meal. eating was delicious, I would give it a 5 review. we had a snuck and a lamb battle. both are excellent and the staff was really nice. the reason why I gave 4, not...5 is that the table was really sticky, which is a bit spicy. I hope management can do something about it. I would recommend.

Went to the Wollaston Inn today for a business meeting and wow what a great experience. The landlady was so lovely and welcoming she made us laugh. The food was gorgeous I ordered a sirloin steak medium well and it was cooked to perfection. We...also ordered a hunters chicken which was so nice and juicy. We will definitely be coming here again. Such a lovely place xx

Another lovely dinner at the Wollaston inn. I’ve only been out for dinner twice since March because I’ve been shielded. It’s scary going outside now, but this is somewhere Covid safe secure. The food is good pub grub, and we just love Dan the...barman, so polite and helpful. I had hunters chicken and sweet potato fries, the husband had a bacon cheese beef burger and fries- just yummy and socially distanced! View menu

I ordered a meal for both my daughter and I and it was ready for collection within 45 mins. The food was delicious, worth every single penny. I even got an ice pack for my ice cream! My only disappointment is that I’ve only just...discovered this wonderful amazing place just around the corner from where I live, I could have had so many wonderful meals this last year. No more cooking for me on a Sunday in future! Thanks guys

My family and friends eat at the Wollaston Inn regularly. The food is always plentiful, of great quality and cooked to perfection. The menu has plenty of choice without being overwhelming and there is a Friday deal on grills. Louise, the Landlady, has a warm...welcome for everyone and never neglects to have a word with her customers. The staff are polite and efficient without being overbearing. We love our local and hope to continue eating here for a very long time.

"I have been searching for a venue to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday next year. He is of Jamaican descent, and we found June Plum and decided to take him there for a meal this year. Upon our arrival at 5:15pm, my daughter gave a cake to a staff member to hide in the kitchen as a surprise for my husband. We requested to place our food order at 5:25pm, but even after our drinks order had been taken and served, our food order was not taken. After a second request, we finally placed our food order. By 6:15pm, we still had not received our food and when we inquired about the delay, we were given a story about the table before us still not being served. At this time, there were only them and us in the restaurant. We were told maybe another 15 minutes for our food, but by 6:30pm, we were still waiting. The front of house manager apologized and could not give us a definite time for our food, mentioning that the table before us would take another 10-15 minutes. After two hours of waiting, we were still not able to eat. The staff mentioned attending a cricket match the day before, but we were unsure how that was relevant to our wait. When we finally asked for the bill and received it along with the surprise birthday cake for my husband, which was supposed to be a surprise, we were disappointed. Although the front of house manager apologized and offered us the drinks on the house, we have decided not to return to June Plum and will not be booking it for my husband's 60th birthday meal. While we appreciate supporting small businesses, we cannot tolerate such long waits for service."
