"Best gluten free pizza I've ever tasted! Pia, the proprietor, is absolutely lovely and her staff are equally as genuine, enthusiastic and eager to help. The feminine touch definitely shows and it is a very friendly place to visit. The restaurant offers pizza, pasta and homemade gelati which goes down a treat with kids and adults alike. Only complaint is that Pia doesn't open everyday and every evening! A great local business worth supporting."

"Had a meal and drinks yesterday afternoon with the family and it was fabulous! Obviously a superb chef as the food was tasty and robust and the quality and choice of the locally sourced produce shows real skill and integrity. We will definitely be back and would heartily recommend the Royal Oak! "The restaurant ascetically looks good. Customer service not their strong point from walking in they all seemed peed off! We ordered two curries mine was okay, my partners was hotter (peppers than she normally has it but she persevered all the same but it got to the point that we had to order some ice water. The waiter that we gave the order walked past at on two occasions with jugs of water for other tables and in the end we had to ask another waiter. On finishing, my partner left some of her chicken dish as it was too hot so we decided to let the waiter (owner? know that the dish that she normally have did not come vindaloo style to which he proceeded to lean over the table, thrust his hand in my partners dish and squish the chicken we were both gobsmacked and so my wife to clarify any misunderstanding stated that it was too hot and her mouth was still burning! His response nothing!! We requested the bill and he had the cheek to suggest that we left him a tip of 5%, 10% or 15%. These guys simply don 't get customer service, manners or the fact that you earn a tip for the for mentioned."
