What a nice discovery for us after visiting some friends in the area . Being from Romania we tend to miss our home made products and the food from our home towns but i must admit this place has brought our home closer to us by bringing the best of our cuisine close to where we live . Highly recommended , truely amazing dishes and lovely and friendly staff. Nice cold beer to join those lovely “ mici” or chevapcici also known. The taste and cantity was more than enough. Good place to be among nice people. Highly recommended not just for romanian people , discover why we eat that good back home but much closer if your in UK. We will return here deffinately . As a good romanian who misses the traditions and the home made food one always looks for places like this one to bring him closer to home and without a doubt this place does it every time we come near by . What a fine discovery and a nice place to be . Food is amazing , the owners are always friendly and helpful and has no fault at all . Incredible . Super tasty food and ambience . We had just walked along the Wandle from Carshalton so we were hungry. It the restaurant was empty. once we ascertained that they were actually empty. We asked what was typically Romanian. Nobody spoke any English but Maria and indeed all the staff were so lovely. We ordered the platter for too, and tried to add a side salad. Maria wildly gesticulated that the platter was huge and didn't need any extras she was right. Not only were we completely full by the end but we took a doggy bag home which lasted two more meals.
