"small restaurant for a healthy and well cooked lunch with excellent reception. this noon 15 February 22 walking from spdv found this little restaurant hidden in a corner. a fresh bowl and my request without gluten no objection from the server. fresh linguini with bear garlic, accompanied by an explosive burratta and a vegetable tajine. then a delicious and excellent almond cake that I had the recipe.) a zucchini chocolate marrow and a lemon cake. accompanied by tea, 2 glasses of organic wines and a organic lemonade. 72€ .plus the smile of the cook and the waitress of her husband who gave us addresses of resto. Going there really is great"

Tiny gem in the heart of Saint Paul de Vence! Food is fresh, homemade, organic. The owner/server was at nos petits soins . Reservations a must as it is very small. I am glad we did.

Fabulous little spot where we were lucky enough to sit outside. The owner is very welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. The only drawback was the wait for drinks and food even though it was not busy at the time we visited. However, when you are lucky enough to be sitting in small, quirky little cafe in beautiful Saint Paul de Vence, then you really can't complain.

this place has not disappointed definitiw. After we had a few butter French meal times, we were looking for a light lunch and the caffe timothé gave us a delicious milk-free meal with a French twist, from the lavender prosecco, to the handicraft beer, the salmon bowl, the pasta with fresh tomato and the mouthwatering carrot cake, everything was excellent. this place is a small jewel in st paul de vence and the personal is really passionate about eating it. recommend this place!

"**Intro**Before I start this review I want to explain that the menu for tonight was fixed due to a jazz event outside the restaurant. So all you could choose from was 1 of 3 dishes of a starter, main course and desert (3 dishes of 9). With so few options the results bound to be good when you can focus and do a few dishes really well. Our company had a table for 7.**Time management**We got there at 20.30 just before the jazz band started playing outside. Drinks took 15 minutes to serve and after that an additional 30 minutes for starters. After 50 additional minutes the main course was served. The deserts was served after the jazz bands session had ended at around 22.30.In terms of speedy service I would call this a disaster. Although one waiter understood that we had been waiting for almost 50 minutes she had a poor explanation for the delay "A lot of the guests wanted their deserts served but your food is coming up in five minutes."This is a great way of kindly explaining how much of a non-priority we were. 1 of 5**Food**When it comes to the food I would love to say that it was worth the wait, but it wasn't.Starter: Duck liver with caramelized apple with some kind of crushed nuts. The good: Caramelized apple and crushed nuts was very tasty. 3 of 5. The bad: Duck liver had a spoungy texture and tasted very little to nothing. A bit of salt would probably save the taste and I could have given it a decent 3,5-4 maybe.Main Course: Fish in tomato sauce with ruccola. The good: At least the fish was fresh. The bad: This was nothing worth remembering. I feel so sad that a fine file of fish got served on such a poor plate with a tomato sauce and a 1/2 cup of ruccola. I mean come on, a student on a tight budget could make a better tasting fish while trying to nuke it with spices, herbs or even ketchup. No chef-effort whatsoever. Also, where was the salt? Use of fresh fish was the only positive thing. 2 of 5Desert: Fromage with Nutella and some kind of nuts crushed with pop rocks. The good: Fromage tasty and didn't end the night in total failiure. The bad: The melted chocolate was not actual Nutella. Maybe some generic brand? Also the pop rocks would be more of a success on a childs desert. 3 of 5**Service**The waiters had a busy evening hopefully trying to make their best but I am sad that all waiters had their sight fixed on everything else except their guests. Since we had been ignored and had our expected 80-90 minute restaurant visit being delayed to approx. 150 minutes I can not say that I am satisfied with the service. After each dish being served non of the waiters returned and asked how the food tasted. Not even after clearing the table after each dish or when we asked to pay the bill. 1 of 5**Summary**I suggest the restaurant would improve the following:1. Whip the waiters to communicate with the guests. "How is the food tasting/Are you all satisfied/Care for some more wine?"2. Don't have a guy trying to be a sommelier when he even can not divide a bottle of wine equally. Just don't. 3. When explaining a time delay don't explain what you were doing instead. Explain what you can do for us to make up for it. Just a simple I'm sorry would do just fine if you lack mandate to offer a fruitplate or whatever.4. When the bill is being asked for don't walk away and start clearing the table for other guets.5. Fire the chef. Main reason for not succeding in executing only 9 dishes in an evening with brilliance. There is nothing to salvage here. This restaurant might have potential on any other night since previous ratings was what got us to book a table here tonight. Hopefully this is an one time fail for the restaurant. Food was not bad, just tasteless and the waiters succeded in making the evening a boring one. Sorry but I won't visit this place once again.Salute."
