"I recently brought myself to tony’s. I ordered double pie and maic. it just tasted nothing. I mean nothing. the meatcake, liqueur, even the mash....not except salt, much too much salt. I have tried to destroy saltiness by adding vinegar. it hardly made it edible, but I still couldn't get my head tasted. Maybe my assessment is a little hard. I used to live in manzes and kellys return to my Bachelor days in polytechnic of east london, where a student special was 90p. that were the good old days. the cakes were fresh and tasteful and they were satisfied. I will soon make a trip there and compare. Perhaps the things have changed. the service at tony’s was nice."

Can't say I'm an expert on this type of pie and mash, but it was just what I needed on a rainy day. Also fantastic customer service!

This is a fantastic place with delicious food and friendly staff. It's a shame that it's not closer to me, otherwise I would be dining here most days.

I've been Tony's a few times over the years after a walk down the lee and every time was delicious. Would reccomend to anyone that loves a good old pie and mash.

Lovely place . The refurbishment is great reminds me of the old days of the pie mash shop in Well Street Hackney . Love the benches , The way a pie mash shop should look.

not the eastern end, but unfortunately my favorite is now a Chinese. but to say that it is very good, triple pie-double maic for me is the norm. pick up the white pfeffer there with a splash of chili edgy. very delicious cake, liquor is on place. allways clean, some on yer ribbs soon.

it has not been a bad experience for many times. While I can't compare it with others, being a traditionalist, personally I think that eating is decent, which is most important, is always served hot. for all evaluations here both positive negative, the number of customers throughout the day is a true indicator for the food location. like a transport band of people.
