"In Toshi you can try all Japanese delicacies from a very good japanese chef, from wagyu beef to teppanyakis, sitting across the cooking lot (evenings). However during the week, they also offer business lunch which includes a variety of teriyakis, great sushi menus, served in...total of different plates, usually, soup, salad, rice, dessert included, and this whole menu costs somewhere between Eurs, and I think it is great opportunity to try very good japanese cooking in Munich. The restaurant itself is small, in the center of the city, very close to opera (a good place to eat before or after theather). I would have liked that it also had an access to a backyard with japanese garden."

I’m regular at Toshi not just because the food is delicious and great portions, the service is amazing the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Always brings friends here too and I’ve never heard any one of them complain.

Quiet atmosphere, simple decor and dull colors but very pleasant service. Just tried the menu with sashimi which were excellent. I did not like the salad which was too European. Also duck was exquisite. Will return for larger experiences. View menu

Incredibly delicious sushi. We had the October menu. The portions were exactly correct and the distance between the individual courses was well matched. I think it was the best sushi I've ever eaten. The waiter was fast, friendly and accommodating. Because of the high price perhaps not for every day, but I will definitely go back here. Go on.

On January, I had dinner with my family at Toshi, things happened, which made the experience bad: at the beginning, there was a loud discussion between Toshi and a lady, who’s small boy accidentally destroyed a decorative vase on the table. The...lady should pay Euro. We felt uncomfortable about the handling of such an event, which can always happen with children. our course dinner took more than hours to deliver, which is definitely much too long, ruining our mood completely and leaving the good quality of the sushi spoilt.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
