"Very nice place, tastefully decorated, we were accommodated in a very elegant and discreet room while being a table of 6 people. The lady who served us was very friendly and full of advice (including the right wine matching). The menu is concentrated on a few dishes but well cooked and embraces both tradition and modernity. Definitely a nice place in Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna. As always I leave a tip: dedicate a special item on the menu for children, with less elaborate dishes, can be a point in favor. prices slightly above the average are however justified by the quality of the ingredients and the very prepared room staff. I would definitely return"

"we chose il lavatoio restaurant on a laune when we stayed in Sant’Arcangelo on our trip in italy. we could not have chosen a beautiful environment or a restaurant with more delicious meals! the food was wonderful and to be a vegetarian that I had many. of decisions, but the calcio e pepe and truffle was to die. the filled zucchini flowers are wonderful, like dessert and wine selection. the staff was helpful and made the experience more pleasant. we even bought a bottle of wine to go and the prices are perfect. stop them in Sant’Arcangelo because the city is a shade. eat them in il lavatoio to cement their memories with a beautiful meal in a romantic environment!"

"We stayed at the agriturismo to which this restaurant belongs. The first night we thought we'd try the restaurant, thinking that on other nights we might explore neighbouring villages. That never happened as we discovered what a special place this is, with an excellent menu and a great wine list. In particular try the set menus but make sure you have a solid appetite. Prices are actually very reasonable and gave a much better quality/price ratio than any of the other places we dined this two week Italian holiday trip. So we ended up staying here for dinner every one of the four nights in the agriturismo, sampling the menu and occasionally returning to our favourites. Service was also excellent with a wonderfully warm smile."

"Situato nel centro storico di S. Arcangelo di Romagna a due passi dalla movida. Locale che esiste da una vita e sempre gestito dagli stessi proprietari. Caratteristica la presenza di grotte scavate nel tufo, visitabili, dove si stagionano salumi, pecorini e vino per dare quel tocco di casereccio e controllo della qualità. Locale distribuito in vari locali compresa una veranda nella piazzetta, consigliato un filo di Arianna per orientarsi. Cucina con piatti della cucina romagnola e nuove alchimie sempre presentati con maestria per deliziare gli occhi ed il palato. Vini anche importanti con un occhio di riguardo a quelli del territorio. I prezzi, rispecchiando la qualità e la cura nel servizio, non sono esagerati e comunque in linea con altre realtà di pari livello. Vale sicuramente una visita, armatevi di pazienza poiché è sempre pieno."
