"invited by a friend to the birthday, I visited the Irodion again after a long time. The greeting was friendly. Outermost hadn't changed much since my last visit: a Greek ambience, the table beautifully covered. Drinks: My beer was well tapped and properly tempered. The dishes: the appetizer board that I shared with another birthday guest was tasteful and visually good and it was big, I will order them safely during a next visit. My grill was also well filled and he was good. However, the meat could have been a bit hotter, the supplements were hot enough. The red wine ordered to the grill plate was good. To praise also the service: Friendly, unobtrusive, but always there when something was needed. All in all a successful restaurant visit, which is certainly repeated."

"It was unbearable because two children played around and screamed. It didn't bother parents and staff. Was the worst visit I ever had there for 35 years. This is also calculated at once for the reordering of sep. peppercorns with the bones at 2.50. Especially since you can't do anything for saving the kitchen sometimes. The white bread seemed old and not crunchy."

"Very nice restaurant, very friendly and well functioning service. We were with a group of 20 people who walked there, and all got their Ala card almost at the same time. we had registered and it was very well prepared. Only if you are on the go with a group, really recommend."

"Owner-run family country hotel with very well maintained premises, good breakfast and beautiful terrace. Classic friendly service and gastronomic all-round offer with many regional stops. I took place in the evening on the well visited summer terrace. In addition to a small pavilion, a large barbecue complex was built. In addition to the extensive map, the boss offered a barbeque buffet full (12,80€); outside was freshly grilled inside in warm-keeping cups the side dishes and salads from the chilled salad. In view of the attractive price and the components listed on a special card, the selection was easy: so many family visitors and business travelers accepted the offer; a family celebration à la carte was served next door. The classically dressed waiters (supported by the boss) were able to meet the situation in the well-visited house professionally and friendly without great waiting times. Among other offers were: marinated pork jam steaks, hiumi grilled, chicken skewers, sausages, bean cuffs in the bacon, corn flask, baked potatoes with sourcream, potato salad and various fresh salads, as well as some homemade dips and dressings suitable for meat components such as Asian sauce and aoli bread selection... Mousse au Chocolat with vanilla sauce was ready for dessert. With standard this had nothing to do even the supplements created lovingly and variedly slightly exotic or unusual. A good alternative to Hessian classics. After two rounds, I could say the kitchen understands its craftsmanship; each component is finely lined with craftsmanship and very good quality. Delicious juicy grilled food with modern bonds interesting and well implemented. Excellently tasty, friendly and also the liquid components (0.5l Licher 4,10€, 0.3l Kellerbier 3, € and the regional cumin 1,70€/2cl fair calculated. Recommended house for all occasions also at the original bar in the Gasthoftrakt."

"To the menu: the card is very manageable, there are a few classics like hand cheeses with music, strammer Max etc., a handful of meat dishes and a few salads. For vegetarians the choice is very modest. Also as dessert there was only the selection between ice cream with chocolate sauce or ice cream with red hat.In addition, the pommes are not on the plate for carving, for example, but you get a bowl for the entire table to share. The scavenger is very large, but for this the pommes are too little to my taste. However, tastefully nothing was to be put out at the food.The chairs at the tables are relatively close together, which is why it was very difficult for the waitresses to put off drinks and write the price on the lid. That ended in a wheat beer being overturned me. There was a short “excuse” from the waitress, but neither napkins or cloths nor a small drink were offered as compensation."
