Qui troverete la buona cucina emiliana dove la mortadella è il maestro: menù dello chef con maltadella e i ravioli sempre di mortadella

Eccezionale! Siamo stati lunedì sera alla trattoria del Ghiottone, staff della sala gentilissimo e disponibile. Cucina veramente top. Ci torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare gli altri piatti dello chef e per bere un altro buon vino.

Trattoria consigliata dall' host di booking. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente piatti tipici bolognesi: tris di primi (tortellini, tagliatelle e lasagne al ragù , cotoletta bolognese, un antipasto davvero particolare (pannacotta salata allo squacquerone con fichi caramellati , dolce semifreddo malaga e tenerina al cioccolato con mascarpone. Cucina molto curata e deliziosa. Consiglio vivamente la sosta!

We booked this in advance after reading the great reviews and took a taxi there from our hotel. So good to get away from the more touristy places in the town centre. Wonderful friendly atmosphere and full of happy Italian diners. We could not fault the service but were not that impressed with the pasta dishes. However, we had some great wine and delicious semifreddo to finish. Overall, a fabulous evening.

Some times you realize that guides like Michelin, Espresso or Gambero Rosso, by accident, are missing great places like this one. I very seldom would give a place 5 stars, but this one deserves every single one, from service to food including an interesting wine list. I also had the honor to meet the skilled sfoglina who was responsible for the amazing lasagne. It is certainly not in the tourist circuit, it 's not located downtown Bologna, but it 's worth the driving.

In this small and lovely family restaurant you feel the passion for serving good Italian food and great hospitality. We went two times in one week, because it was too good to make it only a one-time experience. The anti-pasta della casa is the best starter ever. Than the combination with the nice Barolo wine makes it really a pleasure to choose from the perfect menu. The first time we came we already felt really welcome, but the recognition the second time made us feel really appreciated.
