the service was absolutely good when we went and the dishes were incredible! Apparently it was one of the last places where anthony bourdain saw before his death for his television shows, they don't expect to eat good. only great home cooked eating

Found this on YouTube, decided to visit.... omg didn't disappoint. Food was amazing. Was literally the best meal we had in florence. People were queuing down the street to get a seat. Great food, great wine and great cost. A must for anyone in florence to try

absolutely tasty, easy to eat, which tastes very homemade. highly recommended. there was a short line to get a table, so it would be wise to open time coming. no English menu, but they can show on photos that they see on google maps and ask for. they pay their meal at the front, no need to ask the bill.

Great food, great atmosphere and superb value. It was that good we went twice for lunch during our short stay. We ate so much each time we didn’t have room for an evening meal! the menu changed daily and was authentic delicious family food. The staff were really friendly too. All round, a super experience

This place is AMAZING. The staff is so sweet, they open promptly at 715. Be there early or be prepared to wait in a LONG line. The food is classic, simple, and delicious Italian. It's not fancy, it's like grandma makes because grandma is making it. Go in expecting to eat well, leave full, and not go broke doing it. See photos.

5 giorni in fiorenza con mia figlia, per 3 notti abbiamo mangiato in questa trattoria. pasti fatti in casa molto buoni a prezzi bassi mai visti ovunque. servizio al bene ma tutto gentile e sorridente, consiglio solo di cambiare o risciacquare più spesso la spugna per pulire i tavoli. Ma stavamo bene e torneremo sicuramente. raccomandato

Anyone complaining about the service just wants to be waited on hand and foot. The food was tasty — reminded me of the kind of food I read about in Marcella Hazan’s cookbooks. Simple, unfussy, and more about how you prepare the ingredients. Line gets long. We got in line about 15 mins before they opened and were seated immediately, but it looked to be a 30 to 60 minute wait when we left.

A Firenze ci sono tanti locali definiti Osteria, Trattoria ecc. ..... credetemi questo locale è quello che io considero e definisco una vera trattoria locale !!!!Posto molto pulito, rustico e con il giusto prezzo si mangia DIVINAMENTE !!!!!Servizio gentile e veloce. Se arrivate in ora di punta bisogna magari aspettare un attimo fuori, ma credetemi ne vale la pena. Qui c'è la gente di Porta San Frediano, gente del posto, locale e fortunamente ancora pochi turisti.
