A very well run venue with amicable staff, good service and good food. Children are accepted and takeaway available. Very popular and well attended lunch hour on weekdays and pre-booking is advisable. Yes, a good place to consider when needed.

The kind of Italian restaurant where the food is averge, and the waiters are over compensating this by acting being Italian, and are unpleasant present all the time. The food looks Italian. Good for diner with friends, if you do not mind the food

I've been here several times (for lunch as well for dinner) and each time I was really disappointed: pizza was worse than a fake-Italian-take-away one, meat was fat, pasta overcooked.Now I decided: no more here!It'd be again a waste of money!Please do't call it Italian...restaurant, because Italian cuisine is something else!

We've been coming to the San Benno for some years now (the restaurant was called Loris before I don't know are the owners the same since the restaurant was renovated recently) I can say the food is really great. Especially, the pizza is...excellent. It's quite big (what the waiters in the restaurant call long it's very thin just as I like it. It's very nice to sit outside in summer time.

The restaurant inside has a delightful ambiance. Most customers prefer to sit outside which has a pleasant setup. However, I prefer to sit inside to avoid smokers. The staff who attended to us is friendly and helpful and the menu has a good selection. I...especially enjoyed their pizza. Can be pretty busy during dinner time. Should pay the restaurant a visit if you are staying at the nearby hotel.

Live around the corner. They were very busy on a saturday night with a private party, but they sat us and therefore, in my opinion, there is no excuse for a minute wait before they even took our drink order. We ordered two pizzas...and two pastas. Pizza was average to good. Pasta was simply bad. There was no flavor and the sauce came out like a broth as if they had not properly drained the noodles.

I ate there twice during my visit to Munich. The restaurant was situated close to my hotel in a nice, clean and pleasant neighbourhood. On both occasions the restaurant was very busy, so perhaps calling ahead for a reservation would be a good idea, although...I was lucky. I ate pizza on the first visit and a pasta on the second visit both were excellent. The staff were helpful, pleasant and very friendly. I highly recommend and will certainly return on my next visit to Munich.

Wir geben 4 von 5 Punkten.Zunächst ist der Service hervorzuheben. Man fühlt sich als Gast schnell wohl und wertgeschätzt. Die Tageskarte ist auf einer großen Tafel einsehbar und zeigt, das frische Produkte verwendet werden.Wir hatten den Fischteller und den Seewolf vom Grill. Der Fisch wurde im Ganzen gegrillt und am Fisch filetiert. Die Teller waren schön dekoriert. Die Salatbeilage / Gemüsebeilage bei den Gerichten ist etwas wenig.Vorab hatten wir eine Bruschetta. Diese war ok, wir hätten uns anders Brot gewünscht, aber dies ist Geschmackssache.Daher gibt es den einen Punkt Abzug bei Preis Leistung. Wer in der Gegend ist, sollte hier einkehren. Wir werden es wohl wieder tun.

I have been to this place several times as it’s around the corner from where I live. Since all stores are closed on Sundays in Munich, this is the place I go to when my fridge is empty. The food is delicious! The food quality...is amazing here and the portion sizes are really satisfying. I can definitely recommend their pizzas and risotto. The servers are usually very efficient and friendly. However this time it wasn’t what I expected. Our food was served out at different times.
