"This restaurant is off the beaten track and was recommended to my husband and I. It is not far out of Cefalu if you still choose to go after this review you should follow the road signs rather than google maps! Sadly we had a very poor experience. We had made a reservation but despite that were seated at an inside table next the door of the kitchen. The main attraction of this restaurant is the sea view overlooking the sunset which we didn't see, from where we were seated. Other guests came in and were seated at better tables despite having no reservation. The staff speak Italian in the main, so our lack of Italian was a distinct issue. The menu has fresh produce however having selected our meals from the menu (fried local fish, pasta with tuna and two salads) we then had to wait over 60 minutes for anything to eat. We watched other diners come in, be seated (at better tables) and get food before us. About 10 minutes before our food was ready, a member of staff came to explain that the pasta water had to be changed which was why our meals were taking so long. That's a new one on me I have to say... The food was mediocre when it arrived by that stage my husband and I were extremely hungry (it was almost 2145 table was booked for 2030hrs) definitely not an experience to be repeated, and definitely not worth the hour plus wait. There are many better places to eat at in Cefalu."

Il posto è incantevole, ci si sente subito a casa grazie alla simpaticissima signora che accoglie come poche persone sanno fare. I piatti sono di qualità, semplici ma stupefacenti. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è perfetto. Non vedo l’ora di tornare!

Siamo stati attirati da le buon e recensioni lette su trip, e dopo una bella passeggiata a Cefalù , iniziamo a scollinare per la località di Sant’Ambrogio, locale piccolo ma molto accogliente. La conduzione familiare è un plus per questo posto, abbiamo mangiato discretamente bene. Da consigliare è da ritornare View menu

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso in un paese splendido. A conduzione familiare, è un luogo accogliente con un panorama mozzafiato sulla costa. Pesce freschissimo cucinato in maniera tradizionale. La semplicità delle preparazioni esaltano la qualità eccelsa del pesce, ancora pescato in immersione e in modo tradizionale. Rapporto qualità /prezzo ottima! Consigliatissimo! Anche se si alloggia a Cefalù ne vale assolutamente la pena!

This is the place to be around Cefalu! Make a reservation and do not follow any navigation system, but follow the sign to St. Ambrogio...it is the third Restaurant on your right..once you passed it you find parking places in your left. The restaurant is perfect: very friendly service and excellent home made food based in regional availabilities. Since everything is freshly prepared maybe you have to be patient...but it is worth-while! Must-be-there!
