"I was traveling through Bavaria for work...staying in Maisach for 19 days. I found Anna's on Yelp and made arrangements to visit. Parking was super easy...and Sophi's son spoke enough English to help me navigate the menu (which you can also translate in advance, if needed, using google translate. Sophi and her son were extremely hospitable...offering me an appertif (on the house and some of the best bread I have ever eaten. Octopus is hard to find, and good octopus is even harder to find in the US...well, the dish I ordered was so large, it could have fed two people...and yet, so delicious, I ate the entire plate. Even though I was dining alone, it felt like I was in someone's home...I felt so comfortable. Everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend Anna's Taverne to all and any who find themselves traveling through the Munich area."

Sehr freundliches Team, Service war perfekt, Bier perfekt gekühlt und eingeschenkt, die halbe Ente samt Soße, der Knödel und das Blaukraut …Note 1 und der Salat mit gebackenen Champignons und Austernpilzen auch ….besser geht’s nicht"

"We stopped by this place for lunch after visiting the Dachau Concentration Camp. It is close and convenient. The first thing we noticed was the friendly and welcoming nature of the staff. We felt like we were sitting down with family. Although, they didn't have a menu in English, our server was happy to assist with our attempts at translating. The speatzle was excellent. We also had a cheese and bread plate which was a spread cheese in olive oil and onion slices. The food was good and on par for pricing in the area. The beer was good value and as always, cheaper than the water! Parking is limited to a few spaces out front in the street and a couple spaces designated in the hotel parking spots next door. Although, this didn't seem to be a problem."

"Pizza ordered by app. Came within 20 minutes at 1.5 km distance. The pizza was really hot, very well occupied and mega delicious! However, we ordered 28 cm and came 26 cm. You should change that. Qualitative but definitely recommended. We order again!"

"Die Vorspeise für knapp 10 Euro war der total Reinfall, absolut enttäuschend und genau abgezählt. Wir waren zu sechst und haben ein Pizzabrot mit Tomatensoße als Geschenk des Hauses vorab bekommen, damit wir schon mal halbwegs satt sind. Das sehr stolze, oder man kann auch sagen überhebliche Personal, gab Kommentare ab wie: das eine junge Frau soviel essen kann, hätte ich nie gedacht. Na raten sie mal was ich für eine Nationalität bin? Italiener jedenfalls nicht, haha. Die Pizzen waren ok, aber spärlich belegt. Ich habe schon bessere Frutti di Mare gegessen. Und der offene Wein war viel zu teuer. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin."
