"we reserved a table in the night before and got the best table on the terrace, right at the edge and have the breathtaking view without experiencing people who block it. so highly recommend reservation in advance, a day seemed to suffice (in juli 2022 . there is a separate Veg menu, very friendly staff, and eating was delicious. I have seen that people complain that it is overpriced, but with all the experience I would say it is worth it. the prices are the basic European dinner prices in the time of inflation (e.g.: cocktail 12€, starter 15€, pasta 18€, dessert 12€ , I didn't think they were particularly high (obvily coming from a privileged position and used to higher prices as I am from Finland). always, highly recommended if they are in amalfi, ravello or near towns!"

one of the pricier meals we had in Italy, and not better to justify the cost. the lookout is spectacular!

I would recommend increasing the portions of vegan dressing, as they are much smaller than those of meat or fish. updated by the previous review on 2022-07-10

Poor service. Poor menu. Poor antipasti and poor main dishes. Bread tasting old, a drop of burrata on the antipasti, main course with bad tasting meat. Terrible experience. View menu

The best pizza in all of Italy! My husband and I stopped in quick to get a bite before seeing the beautiful Villa Cimbrone Gardens. We had quite a climb getting there, so we were hungry and thirsty! Beautiful Restaurant, beautiful scenery, the pizza was excellent!! I would eat there everyday if I could.

We had lunch at Villa Maria after visiting the lovely gardens at Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone. We didn’t have a reservation but we lucky enough to be given a table with a great view. The staff were friendly and happy to make recommendations. There’s an extensive wine list and the food portions were generous and the food itself delicious. View menu

if you ask for the vega(n) menu, you will get a completely different menu with many options for vega(n) dishes. it is a very luxurious place, with many top and fast service. that also means: high prices for everything. our starter with zuchini and lemon was excellent! the sekundo has cut us a little off: both the vegetables and the pfefferspins had no great taste. the desert of the vega zitrone joy was a real joy! the vegan chocolate half round and mangomousse (forgot the name) was also very nice. oh, some got free limoncello, but we did not.

we have absolutely thrilled our stay in villa maria. not only the accommodations were breathtaking, but the personal is from this world. so friendly, helpful and attentive. my baggage didn't make it to italy with me and they spent all my stay that helped me get it back. they took the responsibility of my teller so that I could enjoy my vacation, called the airport neapel several times a day and gave me constant status updates. everyone involved was on the running with what was going on and helped me stay positiw. I am so grateful to them that they make my stressful situation a bit more bearable. really the best customer service I've ever experienced. could not recommend staying here enough!

"I took my wife for a romantic dinner at her 50th birthday. Scarpariello Pasta and Seafood Caponata are my favorites If you are sitting at Baglio songs like Mambo Italiano and Nel Bu dipinto di Blu, you are in your head when you are in the heart of o’Sole mio. Baglio is a hidden Jem overlooking the most beautiful and exclusive bay of the Amalfi Coast, in the 50s only down Jackie Kennedy was sunbathing and now the latest hotel in the middle century of the Amalfi Coast shares the view. The restaurant is small, only a few tables (one available on a private balcony as an exclusive location for special celebrations), so also during the busiest time of summer here it is very peaceful. Romance was invented here and if you are lucky to come to sunset, you will enjoy something that will be hard to forget, and if there is a full moon, you will ask yourself, this is for real or it is just a dream. An interesting wine list with wines from all over the world, including Israel, Australia, USA and South Africa, as well as local delights, is the frame for a simple but very tasty menu where everything is prepared on site. Beautiful things are usually difficult to get, so do your homework because reservations and a small deposit are required and during the high season it is not easy to find a taxi to drive you there; if you have a car or a scooter, then it is all easier. There is a small parking lot and it is best to book a place just to be safe."
