"Located inside the Old Corn Mill Antiques Centre, the Vintage Tea Room is spotlessly clean, but has a simple and plain aesthetic that is reminiscent of a cafeteria. The presentation of the food could use some refinement. Our bacon sandwiches were generously filled with delicious and perfectly cooked bacon, though the bread slices were a bit thick for our liking. Despite being fresh and tasty, the bread overpowered the filling. We had to ask for a paper napkin and cutlery and sauces were offered only upon request. It was somewhat unappealing to see the chef, dressed in casual clothes, casually walking around outside with a tea towel over his shoulder. The staff members were friendly and helpful, the menu was diverse and interesting for a small establishment, and we believe that other dishes would be as well-prepared and flavorful as our bacon sandwiches. Paying a bit more attention to detail would greatly enhance the overall experience. The coffee was also quite good."

Dont cater for veggies. Rubbish afternoon no recommended. Unfriendly staffs and unhelpful owner. Why not inform customer when they book only meat meat and hard multiple hard boiled eggs for afternoon tea. Not recommended

What a lovely surprise to find this wonderful venue tucked into an antique store! Mark, the chef, and Barbara, his wife, extended a warm welcome and a wonderful food experience. The steak pie was perfect and my take home scone is sure to please. What a treat!!!!!!

I went to this Tea Room for the first time about a year ago and was pleasantly surprised. I recently went back for a second visit and I am still delighted! The food is fantastic, the menu has a variety of interesting options, and the atmosphere is charming in every aspect!

My friend Sue and I were on the lookout for a hidden gem and we found it at this restaurant on our quest for delicious food. Sue enjoyed the pulled pork and salad, while I opted for a wonderful breakfast with a choice of scrambled eggs or fried. The meal included tomatoes, toast, delightful little potatoes with onions, beans, mushrooms, sausage, and bacon. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely be returning.

Was impressed with the tearooms (1st visit). Myself and Mr D sampled what was described as Egg Custard , on inspection it had a strange biscuit type base with a greasy aftertaste and a slimy filling which also tasted strange. Due to this and fortunately for us we didn 't finish eating them but it still resulted in Two days of pain and inconvenience resulting in a fear of touching cake again. Needless to say we will not be returning or recommending this venue to anyone. Also a bit expensive on viewing the menu.

What an excellent place to have a break. The food is excellent and the drinks are of a decent size for what are reasonable prices .Located inside an Antiques Centre where you can spend an hour browsing in the expanding rooms overflowing with items from an earlier time this cafe is a little gem and what I would describe as a traditional tea room was it not for the extensive menu, all day breakfasts and display of dazzling cakes on offer. Whether antique hunting or looking for a reasonably priced meal or snack this is clearly the place to call in.
