First time visiting. Got a chip butty wi bits and portion of peas. Large teacake with plenty of chips so will be going again to try the fish.

Been going here for too many years to comment on.Always pleasant staff whether eating in or takeout.Can not say I have ever had a bad meal here.

The service at this restaurant is consistently outstanding, with a friendly staff who always go above and beyond. The food is delicious, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

By far one of the best fish and chips restaurants in Yorkshire. I live in California now but whenever I'm back in Batley to visit my parents I make sure I come in at least once. Do yourself a favour and go!

The food at this restaurant is delicious, however, the staff exhibit poor customer service skills and speak disrespectfully to each other. They could benefit from improving their interpersonal communication.

fantastic fish-n-chips take out or eat in battered sausage and fish cakes and I mean proper fish cakes. pies and gravy curry sauce and try the Irish one the staff are great always a laugh and a smile but you have to keep going back for more

Consistently excellent with a nice crispy golden batter, this fish and chip shop has topped my list after trying many others over the years. It's no wonder it has been owned by the same family for decades - Sheila knows how to make proper traditional fish and chips, it's really good!

We called in here by chance as we are from Bradford and we were waiting for the wallpaper shop opposite to open.We have been back twice since as the fish and chips were really gorgeous and the lady Karen who served us was lovely. Excellent value for money too, we highly recommend this little gem!
