"First of all, as a regular customer I always choose to sit in the booth. Our booking specified that we had a complimentary Prosecco and booth seat upon reservation. We did not get the booth seats however it did not bother us and we just sat were the hostess accommodated us. After ordering our food, I also asked if they had a portion of fries. The waitress had told me they do sweet potatoes fries and hakasara fries , I ordered the hakasara fries after she told me they were regular french fries with mayo sauce, which I assumed to he sirachi mayo sauce. I also made it clear that I’m vegetarian after she asked if we had an allergy concerns. After eating all our food and the fries, I ordered another portion of the same fries and more sushi. I then proceeded to ask a man who looked like the manager , what was in the sauce as I had never tasted something like that. He then told me it’s fish mayo sauce. I was absolutely furious, as somebody who has not eaten meat and fish for years, it had made me sick to my guy and I had then lost my appetite and mood. Although they apologised, and I appreciate it I believe what the waitress did was careless and not excusable in certain circumstances , considering somebody may have a very severe allergy to fish , unlike in my situation , and would have ended up in hospital. More precautions should be taken to ensure customers know what they are eating, considering the menu is very vague and does not specify. Very disappointed."

"We visited the restaurant on December 11, 2022, and the hotel receptionist informed us that it was closed. Unfortunately, she didn't provide any further explanation, and when we tried to call, no one answered. We had made a reservation for a busy Saturday, but it did not include the restaurant. Please remove this place from OpenTable when it is closed!"

"Great pizza. As you can see from the menu, you can choose between two types of dinner: the first, 'pizza profile', is the classic Neapolitan pizza, with a slightly high soft crust. You can start with three types of bases (classic margherita, base with just tomato, or base with just mozzarella) and then add toppings with an additional cost on top of the base price; the second option is the pizza sharing mode where you can choose 2 pizzas (18/20 cm) to share with friends, and in this mode you cannot add additional toppings to the pizzas on the menu. Excellent location, practically behind the Duomo. The staff is courteous and always on point. I recommend making a reservation on weekends as it can get busy."

"Came a few years ago and had a faultless meal. However, the portions have got smaller and the taste was quite bland on our mains. Also, the chicken in blackbean sauce has changed which was a favourite last time and no longer tastes like a chicken and blackbean sauce should. They also coat the chicken for it in a batter and it totally ruins the dish. I would only come back for the smaller plates and dim sum. Was also shocked that thay can charge £45 for a beef stir fry and the portion was pathetic. It's shocking."

"It is hard to find good sushi in London, but this little neighbourhood restaurant really excels! Whoever is buying the fish knows what they are doing it is uniformly fresh, and well-cut. The selection, while not massive, does include some hard-to-find items like amaebi' (beautiful little sweet shrimp) and suzuki (sea bass, not motorcycles), as well as two grades of tuna and the usual hamachi. the rice was properly made and the spicy edamame were really spicy! We were sat downstairs in a very cool, vault-like booth, but there is a sushi bar upstairs, which I'm not sure is in service just yet. Speaking of service, our waitress was lovely overall, no complaints. We took a chance on this restaurant, as it is in our neighbourhood, and were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food we can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu."

"Great place though not easy to find (according to my friend we enjoyed excellent food, friendly and efficient service, relaxed and fun atmosphere and pretty good value. The only thing that was missing was more vegan options and better signposting of veggie and vegan items on the menu."

"Overall, it was a pleasant evening at the restaurant. It took a while for someone to come and take our drink order. My husband, who doesn't drink, ordered a non-alcoholic beer but was told there were no options available. Instead, he was offered a cider, which also contained alcohol. It was disappointing to see no non-alcoholic options other than soft drinks in this day and age, especially during January when many people are participating in Dry January. Despite this, the food was excellent. The salt and pepper chicken starter had a different flavor than expected but was still enjoyable."

"We really enjoyed our meal and time in Flesh Buns. Our waiter Abi or Adi, sorry, I forgot the name) was very friendly and nice. The food was nice too. We had the tasting menu. Great value for money. I love the cocktails I had. One was the Lucky Cat Cocktail amazing and funny presentation) and other was Zen Garden I think), one of the most beautiful cocktails I've ever had I love sweet cocktails). I just didn't really enjoy the vegetables with the nets because they were soaked in vinegar. Even if the dessert could be a bit bigger. The main complaint I would make is that food was brought very quickly so that the service felt a little rushed. We were only halfway our cold appetizers when we got the hot squid and chicken wings. I feel that it would be better to get the hot food when the table is ready with the cold food, so the hot would not get cold. I also mentioned at my booking that this dinner was for my birthday, but that was not mentioned or I did not get a birthday contract. I'm not really sure if this restaurant even makes something for birthdays, so that's okay, I think. Also the food we had was not presented and explained so that I read online what we eat. Another little advice would be to have a less table on the wall tables of 2) because it is a little tricky to sit down without disturbing the tables next to you. I really want to mention the hosts women with green jacket and short hair. She was very positive, attentive, energetic and nice what I think is extremely important because she was the first person we saw when we came in. Overall, I am very pleased with our experience and I think it was a great value for money."

"There are many good Japanese restaurants in London (Chisou, Sakagura, Roka, Murakami, Sosharu, etc) I don't consider Kiri one of them. Kiri's menu items are priced similar to other restaurants but the standard is much lower. The quality of sushi at Kiri was poorer (sinewy and chewy), service was poor even though the restaurant wasn't busy on our visit. Our fairly light, quick meal for two (with a cocktail each and a glass of sochu each) came to £140.00. This seemed very over priced for the food and poor dining experience we had. I wouldn't recommend Kiri and I won't be returning."

"Nandos is always good and special!!! I think it is the best option for eating and sharing time with friends and family. We order many items such as olives, humous, chicken wings, lemon and herbs, chicken liver peritamer, loaded chips peritamer, and macaroni cheese. For dessert, we order the pudding. It's a new dessert. For drinks cold te rubro peach and sagres. The drinks were perfect cold. I enjoyed my beer a lot. The chicken was perfect cooked, and the liver was delicious. The macaroni cheese was exquisite. The olive with its reach savoury was perfect with my sagres. I really love to eat at Nandos. It's healthy, fresh food. The customer service, as always, was amazing. The cashier Tini was very kind and friendly, and the manager CC, its initial of her namebadge) made us feel like we were with our family in our house. The environment was very nice, the restaurant was beautiful and the music was at the perfect volume. Ealing Common Nandos."

"The meal was delicious, the staff was attentive, and they refilled our teapots with water several times without us having to ask. The restaurant had bamboo sushi mats as partitions, giving us the feel of our own private space. I booked in advance over the phone for my birthday, which was a quick process. They even offered to keep my cake in their fridge. The only small issue was that their card machine was broken at the end, so they only accepted cash. However, they provided an option to pay via bank transfer with a £2 fee starting tomorrow."

"An enjoyable meal. We were looking for a place to have dinner after wandering about One New Change at St Pauls and found the restaurant when searching on the mobile. There's a sushi bar at ground level and the restaurant was in the basement. There was a lot on the menu and after spending a considerable time deciding, we ordered a soft shell crab maki (crispy and generous), sea urchin (wasn't crunchy), grilled eel, a herbally chicken, beef and quail egg broth (warmingly nice on a cold rainy evening), a refreshing sea weed salad (can't recall the name) and mochi for dessert. We were pleasantly surprised as we didn't expect to enjoy the food very much. It was fresh and tasty and we were very full afterwards. A slight niggle was that the broth could do with less salt and the dessert selection could be much improved as the mochi was not made there (bought probably) and tasted a bit bland. Service was ok as there was only one waiter serving and it was quite hard to get his attention sometimes. I would recommend it and will definitely make an attempt to return again. Bill came to about £25-30 per person. (8.5/10)"

"Once inside, you can choose to sit at a regular table or in a low seating area surrounded by plush cushions, which I highly recommend. The restaurant was quite empty when we visited, with only two other patrons, yet it felt peaceful and inviting—a calming experience enhanced by the journey through the narrow corridor. We started with Turkish coffee, which tasted like a lighter version of espresso. For appetizers, we ordered icli kofte, and I have to say it was truly amazing—crispy and fresh with a perfect balance of flavors, and the taste of the lamb was exceptional. For the main course, we tried besh barmak, and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was well-balanced, and the delicate beef was served with a pasta that was reminiscent of lasagna. It was simply outstanding. We also ordered a chicken alaturka, which was good but didn’t quite measure up to the previous dish. From the grill, we had the adana shashlik, which was underwhelming. To finish, we ordered black tea served with chak chak, which complemented the tea wonderfully and left us feeling very satisfied. The portions were generous, and the flavors were harmoniously balanced. The most remarkable aspect of the restaurant was its ambiance; it felt so much like home that we ended up staying for four hours without wanting to leave. Our server was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, happy to discuss the food and the restaurant with us. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"

"The place has a more casual feeling that is something more authentic in view of the kitchen. Sushi very good, can enjoy 24pcs for £30, which is definitely worth it when you enjoy sushi. Sashimi really delicious. However, the most important meals felt like we had bought them in a belly Chinese farewell and served on a plate. Despite ordering various dishes, all sauces lubricated the same, similar sweet and sticky sauces. Taking into account the cost of £9-10 per plate. The waitress was also a little annoying because she would wait until we asked for a court before she told us they didn't. Not a deal breaker, but if you are missing dishes, it should be marked or listed on the menu before you start to decide what you want. Service was pretty fast, and the ambience is pretty cool. Would recommend for a casual informal meal and would avoid buying hot food as a whole."

"There is a strong online presence of a lunch menu for Kisaku. After confirming what my wife would like me to pick up, I was told upon arrival that there was no lunch menu. There was a similar dish for $12.50 instead of $7.50 on the regular menu. I felt completely disappointed to have traveled there to be offered a 65% price increase. The owner did not apologize. I went elsewhere and will never return. The place was completely empty at 1 pm, and I am not surprised. By the way, Kiasu is a Hokkien word that denotes a selfish and greedy attitude that arises from fear of missing out. I think the restaurant should change its name."

"This is not only one of the best sushi experiences in London, it is one of the best in the western world possibly excluding Norway. The precision of the chefs is a delight to watch. The quality of the fish is as high as London’s best. At the same time, the ambience of the place is plain and humble and no order is too small or too simple. Please don’t make the mistake of asking for a salmon and tuna combo with a California roll. You can get that from Wasabi or Itsu or M&S. Instead, stretch your limits and explore the seared butterfish and foie gras, or the chopped yellowtail with homemade truffle mayonnaise. The best option of all is to let the chef decide: Omakase sushi (9 piece), and prepare for a taste explosion. Don’t worry, carb avoiders, there won’t be too much rice. If you want a dressed up, glamorous, first date, fusion experience, go to one of the famous name restaurants and enjoy. But if you want an awesome yet down to earth, precision crafted, anniversary after anniversary sushi experience, this is your place."

"Hard to find a good-yet-priced-reasonably Japanese restaurant in Mayfair! Miyama is a good solution. We dined there and had the 42 GBP tasting menu (yes not 75 GBP). Most guests at other tables were Japanese (or Asian). Sushi and sashimi were good, black cod was decent. My scallops were slightly over peppered. Overall the restaurant interior is not the nicest (very white). Staff is nice and very attentive. Will come back!"
