Kisaku Japanese Restaurant

Great and not overpriced Japanese place in West London. Looks like it’s always busy, which is a good sign. The quality is great, the food is tasty Definitely going back.

Nice little restaurant with friendly staff. The food was well presented and cooked (except the sushi). Only down side was the selection of wine by the glass was very limited and if buying by the bottle expensive. We will certainly be going back there.

I work in the Chiswick business park and I go to lunch sometimes. I always order the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box. It comes with rice and soup and extra sushi on the side. The food was just marvellous, the staff treat us very nicely and gave us nice advice for choosing some dishes. We are very impressed by the chef as well who even made us a special gift dish for our anniversary. We would definitely go back to this amaizing resturant to enjoy another cooked to absolute perfection dish.

We came here for a birthday dinner. The restaurant is on the main road, it is not very big but it disabled friendly as it is all on one level and there is a disabled toilet at the back. The service was quick and unobtrusive, and the food was excellent I would recommend trying the chef 's boat selection as this was the best on offer. There are some vegetarian choices as well.

This is a lovely, small restaurant in Chiswick. I definitely recommend reserving a table, as there aren’t too many in there. We received great service by the staff who were very conscientious. The best part of my meal was the freshly made sushi which was great value for money with x8 pieces for approx £8.50 a plate. I’ll be going back for the crunchy prawn and spicy tuna roll. View menu

Small wonderful restaurant in Chiswick. I went with my wife and my son (who shall remain nameless) and we ate way more food than we could finish for a relatively reasonable price. To start, we had edamame beans, vegetable spring rolls, and chicken kaarage, which would have been enough on its own. For mains we had chicken katsu (the chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious), chicken yaki udon, and the vegetarian sushi platter. All absolutely brilliant. The service was attentive and friendly, will definitely be back.

There is a strong online presence of a lunch menu for Kisaku. After confirming what my wife would like me to pick up, I was told upon arrival that there was no lunch menu. There was a similar dish for $12.50 instead of $7.50 on the regular menu. I felt completely disappointed to have traveled there to be offered a 65% price increase. The owner did not apologize. I went elsewhere and will never return. The place was completely empty at 1 pm, and I am not surprised. By the way, Kiasu is a Hokkien word that denotes a selfish and greedy attitude that arises from fear of missing out. I think the restaurant should change its name.

This is without exception my most favourite restaurant in Chiswick, and Chiswick really is not short of one star or two star Michelin restaurants. I love the simplicity of the surroundings with relaxed music, it is clear the owner and his staff care so much about the restaurant, the preparations and the delivery, what can only be described as a piece of art that melts sufficiently in your palette whilst the gastronomic flavours slowly disappear. This is the by far the best japanese restaurant in London. I recently visited for lunch and I am convinced that the food only gets better.
