"We wanted to visit the Waldhotel Graal Müritz again on this holiday. We were very happy last year. Also here I reserved by phone before arrival. We had already noticed that the friendly and equally competent service employee Mrs Eichberg is no longer active here. Now a young man welcomed us. He knew us for a long time, we were right at the “You”. He showed us the windowless place in the middle of the still empty restaurant. This was certainly good for service. On request we were allowed to take place on the window of light cultivation. The varied menu has changed only a little year ago, and prices have been slightly increased. Our drinks: 1 bottle of mineral water, 0.75 l € 5,90 1 Aperol Sprizz € 6,50. 1 Riesling trocken, Wachtenburg Winzer Pfalz, 0.2 l € 5,80 1 Grauburgunder „Bassgeige“ dry, Winzergenossenschaft Oberbergen Baden, 0.2 l € 5,90 After we were supplied with the first drinks, the friendly staff accepted our food requests. As starters we chose our favorites from the previous year. For me: Bunter Blattsalat with apple dressing, roasted nuts, melon and parmesan crown € 7.90 equal to 2020, for this without green asparagus And my husband the Mecklenburg fish pot € 6.90 1.00 to the previous year. To the main course I laughed fried plaice on bacon beans and roast potatoes € 18,90. I don't really need green beans and bacon. Unfortunately, it was neither possible to get the beans nor the roast potatoes without bacon. The cook or the freezer would have prepared this. As an alternative, carrot vegetables and salt potatoes or pommes were offered to me. I liked the offer with Pommes. My husband ordered as main food: Fried cod fillet with cucumber salad, granular mustard sauce and parsley potatoes € 17,90. The waiting period was brewed with fresh bread of two kinds of bread and a tomatized butter. Little later, my husband got the hot fish pot with strong smoke. A rich soup of ordinary fish and vegetables. However, unlike in the previous year, in the soup also smokers were processed. This didn't hit my husband's taste. Ordinarily prepared was the soup and certainly many guests like the smoked fish aroma. You could point out the menu. I waited patiently for my salad. Couldn't tell my husband that I actually wanted to eat with him. Unfortunately, the employee came back to our table to serve. I told him I wanted to give up the salad. It wasn't a problem, he was probably forgotten to record. After a suitable waiting period, our fish served. There was still a culinary plate to the plaice. Fried plaice, pommes, carrot vegetables Both fish fried on the skin, in juicy, impeccable. Fried cod fillet, cucumber salad, parsley potatoes All supplements were also very tasty and well seasoned. The mustard sauce tasted very fresh and good in contrast to the evening before. Under my plaice there are still plenty of pumice. I put them on my side, so they stayed nicely crispy. It did not surprise me that my husband still had appetite for his favorite dessert: Crème brûlée from vanilla with cherries € 6,90. Crème brûlée with cherries Fine sweet finish. Wiedeholt got a cold dungeon. Hardly meat in it and the bright sauce tastes for vinegar. Unfortunately, as others have already written, the quality has gone extremely back in recent years.Pommes taste after old fat.

We like to go to the Waldhotel. Super service, delicious food in a beautiful ambience. We spent New Year here. A great atmosphere and a really good evening. If it takes time, we will be back next year. Thanks for starting a new year

We were on a summery day for a coffee and cake break on site. Careful, friendly, service-oriented employees served us. On the terrace under the shade-giving parasols we felt comfortable. Opposite the Rhododendronpark invites you to walk. Coffee and cakes were delicious and the price performance ratio was fine.

We can only be a guest in this great hotel and there is NOT to criticize. Super clean, great room apartment. Friendly staff, whether in room service, reception or in the restaurant. Also to take extras like food into the room as our baby would have prevented breakfast dinner, otherwise there was no problem of excellent service in any case. The quality and selection of breakfast is more at the level of a 5-star hotel, also the dinner proves that this house houses an excellent cuisine. There are still very human rooms and restaurant prices. Let's go back!
