Nice setting, attentive service. The quality of the food was superb. A must go when passing through Memmingen

the place is very nice at the Stadtbach in a historical building. Food is very good and the chef is also flexible.

Not much on the menu for vegetarians but the chef will make a plan, especially if warned before. Food and service great.

this traditional restaurant is classic, with friendly service. eating is good, wein is excellent. we tried one of the specialities of the cook and it was very good.

the place brings them to the old times. very traditional, excellent service, classic gourmet dishes. it offers a good selection of wines. recommended for romantic dinning.

Nice atmosphere: little bit classical, I was on a drive through and felt a bit underdressed in my baggy shorts. Excellent arrange of wines, tasty food on the menu and a grand variety of choices for me it would be a logistic disaster to offer...that many dishes..! Indeed the service is somewhat slow, but still, if you have the time, enjoy the friendly lady of house, a good wine, and a good dish!

I randomly got off in Memmingen because I was hungry. Followed signs for the center of town and parked my car. I wandered around for a few minutes and then came across this delightful restaurant situated beside the canal. They were most gracious...I only speak...English and some Italian....and were happy to explain their dishes to me. I tried their regional plate with three different dishes....all very good and fresh. For dessert, I had their apple dessert, which was obviously freshly made. The apples were not overcooked and had a lot of flavor. I did not have any wine here, as I was driving, so I cannot comment on that.

Weber am Back is probably the oldest place in town as my mates told me. I really liked the old interior and traditional setup of a classy german restaurant that is not trying to go for stars or points. After a rough start we...had a lot of attention and very good service. The 1st waiter probably just was not awake yet. Clean kitchen and guest rooms. Food had a rich selection. I went for the real local stuf and it was really delicious. Good test and texture. I must admit i had the feeling that the Cheese Spätzle were pushed a bit with sodium glutamate (Natriumglutamat) but anyway. Really great. Definitely worth a visit and the hotel rooms are cheap, clean and inviting as well.

I should have noted down, that there was a lot of time required. I checked out three places I shortlisted via Tripadvisor) in Memmingen for dinner and we chose this one and made a reservation for a table alongside the nice little stream that...goes through the centre of town. When we sat down, we were ignored for at least 20 minutes, the terrace was full, but not more then 10 small tables) but 1 good waiter should be able to handle that. There was an elderly lady waiting and an elder gentleman, who did not seem to be too sure of himself, both took their time, though every single table seemed to be waiting.
