Miserable bleached blonde girl having a bad day and trying to take it out on our group. Hope she cheers up soon before she loses you more money. Five and lime was good though!

The staff here are excellent. Friendly and efficient. You can't knock the value of the breakfasts. This and the surprisingly upbeat staff makes me swallow my pride, become a bit of a hypocrite and temporarily forget my loathing for the senior management...

Rubbed off table numbers caused confusion and disliking from staff members who continued to have a nasty attitude side eye little comments such as your welcome in a aggressive manner We felt so uncomfortable I left ,brought Tupperware and took my food home with my...that particular server has put us of the place

With its quirky decor, delicious food, and huge windows, Spoon is one of the top places in Edinburgh for brunch. I could easily go back every day, as it never fails to deliver. Whether it's their amazing brunch options or their delectable cakes, this place just beckons you to grab a book, order some tea and cake, and unwind.

This is a JD Wetherspoons located in Guildford town center. It serves well as a pub, but it excels as a dining destination. The kitchen staff here seem to be above average, as evidenced by the delicious full vegetarian breakfast and free refill coffee offered to two club members' wives on a shopping trip. The value for money is great and the quality of the food is excellent.

Not visited Weatherspoons for a while. The menu is almost the same as it was, so it was a bit boring. Daily specials like fish and chips or curry are now available every day. The pizza was a bit crispy and had not had much...flavour. Ordering at the table was easy and meant the drinks came quickly. There were screens between the tables, which meant the dining experience was distanced from others. I would have preferred the food I warmer.

The atmosphere was great, the coffee was decent, and the homemade ginger beer was extremely sweet and awkward. The quirky decorations added to the charm of the place, but the service was terrible. The waitress did not greet us, make eye contact, thank us, or talk at all. Interestingly, this place used to be Nicolson's Cafe where I used to grab a coffee between shifts at the now closed De Niro's Restaurant. It's been years since then, when J.K. Rowling used to frequent the cafe as well.

We always sit upstairs, but the stairs were roped off. We tried to order our food from the Wetherspoons app, but this wasn’t working. Went to the bar and queued to order, to be told the lemon chicken is out of stock. Went back to...my partner to see what else she wanted, then had to queue again. I was then told the fish was out of stock too. I then ordered us both panini’s and chips. We both wanted mayonnaise and salt for our chips, to be told by a member of staff that these items were out of stock too. I understand there are delivery problems in general, but we have no desire to return to this Wetherspoons.

Our first pub stop on our recent visit to Guildford and it turned out to be an excellent place to start. Just a short hop from the train station, it is a massive pub in a great location. My wife and I found it to...be really clean with excellent staff, The usual cheap prices were a bonus in a town where drinks were generally pricey. We came back the next day for breakfast, and this again was excellent value. The food was tasty, warm and cheap, three out of three ain't bad!! I am sure we will be visiting Guildford again soon, and I am equally sure we will be popping in here again for a pint and a cheap bit to eat
