"I booked for my family of 4 including 2 children (7+2) . The first sitting for dinner wasn’t until 6.30, it was advertised as 6pm on the website. We waited over 40mins for the food to arrive. This was apparently because the wait staff were waiting on us finishing our starters. We didn’t order starters, only bread! Then the adult meals arrived and we waited a further 10 mins for the children’s food. At this point I spoke with the manager. My meal of mushroom carbonara was completely revolting so I sent it back and chose the burger instead. The manager kindly removed the kid’s meals from the bill. But it was still £66 for a very mediocre meal. I’m most surprised and disappointed by the lateness of the dinner service, given that 90% of your guests were with small children."

I treated my sister to afternoon tea and a spa visit for her birthday. The afternoon was wonderful, and we even took home the cake we couldn't finish.

The staff were wonderful; really helpful and polite. However the food was underwhelming; average food served on cold plates. The prices, however, are at the top of the scale.

Lovely menu and food very well prepared and presented. The beef bourginon was especially good. Restaurant was busy and staff a bit stretched but service remained good. Overall an excellent experience. View menu

The food was very nice albeit a little pricey. Good portion size. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only niggle would be the the ambience needed some improvement, maybe some background music to help fill the space.

The breakfast at Fork was outstanding! I stayed here a year ago, and honestly, it was great then too. However, this weekend was one of the best dining experiences we've had at any restaurant. The staff were exceptional, and the chef even shared his secret for making the perfect fried eggs (it really is all in the details!).

the restaurant decoration was tired, the menu was limited and very expensive for what was in the offer, the quality of the food was average, the price of the weine was absolutely exaggerated, the cheapest wein was £33 per bottle, I bought for the same price earlier on the same day 7.5 bottle wein in aldi super market, I still can not reconcile that hotels can calculate (again fee) for wein View menu

The food was good, but it was incredibly overpriced—especially the children's meals. Charging £4 for a small piece of garlic bread feels like a rip-off to me. The service was also disappointing. The restaurant was clearly understaffed; we waited ten minutes just to be acknowledged for seating. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks, and they were served so quickly that half of my dish ended up spilling over the table. I feel sorry for the workers who were trying their best, but they couldn't keep up. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.
