Very nice ambience inside and outside. You should experience. The menu is rather small, there is something for everyone and everything is very tasty. Service is friendly. We're coming back!

whether rustic or different is a question of taste, but the eseen was not good for me. salad plate, much too hard and the salat little good. the bratkartoffels were too soft, not to notice, from the roast and carving too thin. prices were not expensive, but good eating looks different for me.

beautiful, exceptional location and also great eating to be reasonable. very nice service. to the herboldshof is definitely worth the ride! we sat inside in the restaurant and enjoyed the great atmosphere. this restaurant is not like any other restaurant I was before. it is a rebuilt scheune. the light is dimmed and warm because of candles. the furniture is nevertheless comfortable in wood. the meals are simple, but extremely tasty. my favorite meal is carving in. a pan served with roasted potato and a small salate.

We have a very different guest house. No direct lighting, but candles, not a state-of-the-art facility, but consciously from the time of construction. The whole thing has flair and a very special charm. Very nice staff, delicious bourgeois cuisine and delicious wines, even the selection of beers can be seen. We'll be back.

that is really a very rustic place, entirely with vaulted ceilings, no electric light just crack. the food was excellent, but. I have never experienced such an incompatibility, it was as if the server had absolutely no interest in the customers. we arrived shortly before...5 clock, were informed that we could only order after 17 o'clock, but she brought us a drink. she then took other guest orders that arrived 45 minutes after us....What a real shame served other guests who arrived after us.

The food is all made on-sight, like fresh bread and home-made liverwurst and blood sausage, and the menu changes to match what is in season. Everything we ate was delicious from the meat and bread appetizer (my first time to try liverwurst and blood sausage) to the schnitzel with fried potatoes.
