"Tried this takeaway a few times now, when in Plymouth. The food is excellent and you get good quantities. The initial price point seemed a little high for Plymouth but the reviews seemed to warrant investigation. Placed sufficient orders now to say that the food is of high standard and is consistently good. Last time I went to order I did notice that the prices had gone up again and now seemed a little high, with some dishes approaching an equivalent restaurant price. If budget is not a concern this is a great place. Used to be on my regulars list, now moved to my treats list, in line with current menu prices."

Highly recommend this place. Food was really fresh and delicious. The crispy duck in plum sauce was sensational. Delivery was quick and exactly on time with the just eat app. Maybe the best Chinese takeout this side of Plymouth? View menu

I am so disappointed that they cancelled my order two times and charged me for the second time. I tried contacting them but they are not responding and this is so ridiculous!!! Was really looking forward for the food but totally disappointed.

Best Chinese in Plymouth, such fresh tasty food, prices are so so reasonably but would still say for your money it’s the best Chinese iv eaten. Very fussy eater as I’m a foody but would highly recommend this place to anyone and will always rate it highly!

I ordered online. They cancelled my order. 7 days later I was refunded. No notice was given of the cancellation or refund. I tried again a week later, after waiting an hour I checked status order cancellation again. No notice. What a dire operation. Terrible. View menu

Best chinese food I’ve had. We went for the Malay Nasi Goreng with prawns. If you like special fried rice from your local, this will top that without a doubt. Had chicken katsu hot chilli garlic mee. All dishes tasted fresh!! Please don’t change will be back. Thank you

Gorgeous food cooked on the spot after you walk in and order. The squid and king prawn dishes are delicious. It is spotless. No idea why people complain or give less than 5* other than they must prefer pre cooked and frozen Asian meals that most takeaways microwave when you order. And yes that is how most Asian takeaways are so quick. They just stirfry some egg into boiled rice so it sounds like everything is cooked after you order. This place cook your entire meal from fresh produce. Be patient and your food will reward you so much more than other fifth rate takeaways in this city.

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
