"We came across this Chinese buffet style restaurant on our way back from a long day out of the city. The choice of restaurants seemed to be quite limited and the majority of our party of five decided to give this place a go. First impressions are not so good. The restaurant is quite big and I agree with a previous reviewer about the inhospitable canteen like feel about the place. But we were greeted warmly enough in English and we could see that the buffet was quite extensive. In fact I thought that there was a good choice of Chinese style food, Japanese sushi and even a sort of Mongolian BBQ section where you collect up your raw meat and seafood and a guy cooks if for you in an open kitchen corner of the restaurant. I counted a choice of 8 different sauces in his section alone. I liked the fact that the meat and seafood choice was quite extensive with enough prawns, sepia, lamb chops and two types of beef to name but a few. And there were also frogs legs if you wanted. The dessert section was also popular with the three teenagers in or party. In addition to fresh pineapple and melon there were tinned lychees and a whole host of different ice creams flavours. For 17,00 Euro per person this very reasonable. And when we settled our bill the two adults got the chance to savour Chinese schnapps served in very revealing glasses which confirmed the need to be over 18 and broad minded to drink alcohol here."

I started with a Mai Tai which I really likedAfterwards, as a starter I chose a mix of all the Dim Sum they offer in their menu.

The bar/restaurant is absolutely beautiful; 5 stars for the design! I definitely love the lounge feel with the chic oriental style of Le China.

It looked nice from outside and even okay walking in. Really wanted to eat here, but there were just way too many flies around the food available to cook/prepare. So we left.

Went there for a working lunch as we were in the neighbourhood. Place has a canteen feel to it and we thought it caters mostly to workers around the area. Surroundings not very attractive and there is a landfill nearby (surprise). Buffet was 17 euros and quite decent spread but average tasting. Good maybe for a quick bite if you are not too fussy.

Two nights running we came here for the simple reason that it was close to our B&B Hotel. Could not fault it - we were made welcome by friendly and helpful staff and were immediately unleashed onto the running buffet. This was everything you could possibly want in a Chinese buffet, from great soups, rices, noodles, beef, chicken and fish dishes. Even a choice of fresh meat and fish to be cooked to order. A wide range of desserts including some fab ice-creams. What's not to like? View menu

We ate here because we had few options locally, staying in the hotel next door. It's not expensive so it's a decent budget option if you don't fancy McDonald's, but the food is just alright. Some things were really good, but all of it was a little cold. I didn't often see them replacing things on the buffet with fresh food so you didn't know how long things had been sat there. It's just not as appealing when your vegetables are all cold. There were also few vegetarian options. I don't know if this is because providing veggie options is less common in France, but we often go to Chinese restaurants because they do cater for vegetarians easily. There weren't many different deserts, but they did h...
