Zarathustra Restaurant

The food was wonderful. I wish I had been hungrier! The dishes just kept coming, and each was interesting and tasty. Service was great, attentive, but not suffocating.

I visit this restaurant frequently the service is very good and the food is amazing, parking is a bit of a problem but if you call a head the restaurant will give you their own spot.

the menu is short, the dishes we had were all good and we were the daily special or followed by the waiter suggestions it was a real tasty. as one of the long-term clips of the cologne exotic cuisines, the zarathustra is always a good choice to get a decent emal

living room type of environment. friendly staff. good food. was my first introduction to the Persian food, so I was happy to be with someone who could give me good leads to the decisions. when they are in the cold and are in...for Persian food, they go there. they will not be disappointed.

We often eat at Zarathustra, almost once a week. Staff is very warm and welcoming and they have many vegetarian and meat options to choose from. I prefer the lamb but I have tried all the dishes and they are never disappointing : also they...accept ec cards unlike many restaurants here. Do try the doug !!

we arrived in cologne a couple of weeks ago and went to this restaurant last week. the exterior appearance was attractive and the ambiance was also good. the service was extremely slow, even though there were only a couple if customers other than us. i...liked the food very much. the portions were small for then given price of the dishes. bottom line: nice food but a bit pricey.

Sundays I take my mother to lunch, and on Sundays many favourite restaurants are closed in the cold, at least during lunchtime. zarathustra is open, however, do not have to reserve it, and indeed the Persian food is excellent, especially if they like to lamb....I prefer the chopped meat on spits with yellow rice. huhn is also very nice to not forget the appetizers. all too cheap trips.

The place is very cute (students zone) and the restaurant is small enough, infact the great thing is that the tables are not so close. We took grilled lamb and grilled turkey and it was perfect (even if one piece of lamb seemed more a...piece of pork), but the real problem was the choice. Infact we don't speak german and the english version of the menu was really small, so we had to take what the kind owner could explain us thanks to is trembling english.

I am not a big fan of Persian foods because it is kind of a lack of flavor and a characteristic taste in comparison to his neighboring kitchens, but I don't care. Anyway, family and I came here to lunch our eid alfitr and mom and the rest. the family liked it so that I was happy. eating was regular, the ambiente old and honest crappy, but the service was friendly and they put their heart in mom make happy. there are many Persian resturants in whole carol, especially around this place I try, as I think I will find a few with more dressing kitchens and ambiente.
