"We ate here a couple of times during our week in Munich. It was about a minute walk from our hotel. It looks like a cozy little tea room with a nice selection of coffees, pastries and other German fair. We opted for the...Bonnie Clyde, which was an assortment of cold cuts and cheeses, bread, muesli with fruit and two small German pancakes. It's definitely filling without being too much. And the coffee was delicious. I only wish we could have brought the breakfast back with us, it was so good. They have an English menu too and as with most of our experience in the city, the staff speaks English very well."

As advertised on their website public holiday opening hours are until we arrived shortly before and were told they are closing. If you go to the effort of having public holiday opening hours then you should stick to them. Thanks for nothing!!! View menu

Walked in on Sunday shortly after they opened and they worked us in without a reservation. They spoke English and had an English menu. Quaint, cozy place that felt like your country grandma's house. Small menu but great options if you want something reasonably priced...that isn't a pastry. Had German pancakes, bacon and fried egg-all very good!

We visited Zimtzicke based on Trip Advisor reviews. There weren't a ton of restaurants close to our hotel, so we walked to Zimtzicke for some brunch. The girl there was super friendly and spoke great English. It's a small place and doesn't have a huge...selection, but everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

We stumbled onto this little cafe and had a great experience. We were just wanting a relaxing lunch on Sunday and this place was perfect. Its a bit small but it makes it cozy and we ended up having conversations with the friendly locals around...us. The two girls that helped us were very friendly and didn't mind speaking English for us. They had an English menu also. The lunch special was meat loaf but not like in the US, it was a pastry with meat in it--homemade and excellent. The Cappuccino was awesome and the deserts were homemade, fresh and very good. Half an hour after making our order they realised they had completely forgotten to make our order.. so in total we were waiting minutes for our breakfast. The pancakes had caramelized syrup on that was too hard and made it difficult to eat. The...fresh pressed orange juice took an hour to be served because it too was forgotten. There was no real attempt at apology when we paid, just a hurried sorry when they initially realised. I like the premise of a female run cafe but they don't seem to have the business finess required to make it as good as it could be. We were really disappointed.
