"Eat at Zizzi last Saturday evening and had a pleasant meal. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous and the food was pretty good, unfortunately the size of the restaurant coupled with it being full meant it was almost impossible to chat over the table due to the background noise and that sadly spoiled our evening."

We were 15 minutes late. Upon arrival they denied us a booking and said the kitchen was closed. Luckily Prezzo was much more helpful on the street and we had a nice meal there.

Our group of four booked an informal lunch. Surprisingly the restaurant was quiet. The food choices were interesting, as were the choice of drinks. The sharing starters were excellent.

Another visit to Zizzi in Cardiff and although the meal and service was generally up to their normal standard, it was very rushed, even though they were not particularly busy. Great if you are in a hurry, but it's nice to finish your mouthful of starter before the main course arrives!
