"a successful Italian restaurant chain that plays on good interieur, highly visible gas fired pizza ovens and a quite extensive menu. we went to a birthday dinner in a group of ten. the bloomsbury zizzi is a huge volume room, glass on three sides with the focal point a large gas-fired pizza oven. the fit is modern, clean, light edgy and clearly popular. all this seems to be repeated in other zizzi that I have seen in South England. the service was good, fast, efficient, helpful, friendly and precise. we ordered: the Sharing plate arancini balls huge and delicious prawn huhn and pfeffer spies ok calzone very good a picante pizza rostica delicious large thin base with tomato sauce, nduja sausage, mozzarella, chili, pfefferoni, salami and rakete highly recommended if they like mild hot toppings. wild boar pasta tasty, but hard to split a whole plate of itself better, I think. Acoustic not brilliant (not bringing an older tante with hearing problems.) child-friendly. toilets clean. I might go back, but this is too short and london offers too many ways to go regularly somewhere (if they don't live next door, which is unlikely.) I would recommend it especially for groups if they are in the opposite and their budget suits (ten thirteen pfund pizzas.)"
